Whenever I open up Microsoft word my icon is at the top of the document. How do I make it "normal" (1 inch from the top)

I went to page set up and made it so it was 1 inch from top and 1 inch from bottom. I still cannot get that stupid cursor to be "normal"

make sure your in the print preview layout view. It should be one of the options beside (to the left) your horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page.

See if that fixes it.

yeah, the placement of the cursor on the screen hs no bearing on what the print is going to be like. You have to go to print preview to see that.

Hmm. After I read you're responses I was just duckin' around double clicking on a blank document and all of a sudden the cursor goes to the place where it should be. I closed the doc and reopened Mic Word and it is all fine and dandy. Strange how crap like that works…

I'f you're seeking a plausible explanation, stop while you're ahead: it's Microsoft; there is no plausible explanation.
