| We have had some posters recently ignoring the rules of the INReview forum. So here they are, plain and simple, for everyone to see.
Profanity:
Whether you're using words in a slang form, or misspelling them on purpose so that they will go through the filter. This needs to stop. This includes the "N" word. It's an offensive word, and we don't want to see if all over the place.
There are occasions where it's appropriate to use profanity... but more times than not, it's not necessary. Therefore, clean up your posts. We shouldn't have to edit them out all the time.
Sexual Content:
Some of you post, outright, sexual material in your stories, and posts. Some of you post about it, but you make it so without being too extremely obvious. Sexual content isn't permitted. This isn't a sex message board.
Appropriateness of content:
Please refrain from posting offensive material that is sexually explicit, gory, and/or disgusting. There are places to post that kind of material, but this site is not one of them. This is a family-oriented website whose content should be appropriate for your mother or 10 year old brother.
Profanity, obscenity, or other offensive words, whether filtered, unfiltered, or "redesigned" to avoid filtering, will be edited out or the post/thread will be deleted. If you aren't sure if someone might consider a word crude, rude, profane, or obscene, use another one you know they won't.
So, clean up your posts, or they will be closed. There will be no arguing with the staff regarding this. The policies of the entire message board of INReview are for the entire board. We all follow the rules.
The moderation of content has been told to you many times.
All publicly posted messages are subject to moderation by site moderators and/or administrators. Freedom of speech is highly valued and will generally not be betrayed, save for a few examples such as in cases of excessive use of profanity, forum flooding, posting of inappropriate material, trolling (you know who you are), unauthorized advertising, duplicate or miscategorized posts, or any material which otherwise violates the policies and/or philosophies of INReview. Members may be warned or banned from the site temporarily or permanently if behavior warrants it. If you feel that you have been responded to unfairly, please feel free to contact the site administrators, but know that we have a fair degree of confidence in the judgement of our moderators.
