What I find unbelievable about today’s Jews is that, despite the fact that almost all of them have experienced Jewish Cheapness, they say that it is a stereo type created by the Germans. How can you say that if you have lived it? The love of money is deep rooted in Jewish culture and there is no secret to this.
There are many examples which I have seen in my life and I’d like to give one of them here:
A newly young married man named Edan, who works with my father, comes from a very wealthy Jewish family. His father is an Israeli living in New York who owns several business including car washes. He is a multi-millionaire and is all set for life. Six months out of the year he spends on vacation. Edan needs my father and his co-worker to constantly drive him around since his father is too cheap to by him even an inexpensive car! His home is about 15 miles from work and he struggles to make ends meet as an entry level programmer. What other man from what other nation in the world, if he was that rich, wouldn’t have the compassion for his own son to at least help him finance a car to get to work? If they are cheap regarding their own people imagine how cheap they can be to people of other cultures. They sure are demeaning to Arabs and to other true cultures of the middle east.
Anyone who has lived in a community with a big Jewish population has experienced what I have.
I have faced these problems in my own family (On my grandfather's side). Financial failure is considered a threat to life.
Compare the following Christian and Jewish Texts concerning wealth:
"Easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." Mathew 19:24, Luke 18:25
"You cannot serve God and wealth." Luke 16:13
"If we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. But those who want to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction." Timothy 6:8-9
"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil" Timothy 6:10
Now lets look at some Jewish texts:
"Where there is no flour there is no Bible." The Mishna
"Poverty causes transgression" Hasidic Folk Saying
"Poverty in a man's house is worse than fifty plagues" The Talmud
Lets look at why Jews think they are above and beyond the rest: Three thousand years ago a man from a wondering tribe had problems with his dad, left home, and started the Jewish religion which is based on a piece of real estate- the land that they say God promised to his “Chosen One’s” as many Jews on this forum say. They think that this religion gives them a special relationship with God that non Jews, “Goys”, can’t share.
I'm am speaking from a life of experience talking with many Jews and hearing their views.
They think that God gave them the ten commandments first and this is one of the reasons that their religion is superior to Christians. Indeed the ten commandments are highly valuable and indeed the Jews did have them but the Jews were not the first ones to have a code of laws governing human morality. There are hundreds and hundreds of older cultures who had similar laws, one of which is the Code of Hamurabi. And Abraham was not the first one to believe in One God. Indeed Zarathustra believed in One God long before the Jews.
They have an almost instinctive arrogant feeling that their religion, which largely concerns itself with a promise of land, is superior to most religions of the world. Most Jews don’t consider the fact that there are other, much more profound, religions like Hinduism and Buddhism that don’t concern themselves with petty childish affairs.
What Christianity tried to do was to improve on Judaism and take away the aspect of revenge and try to make it look more like a religion by taking a more humble approach to wealth. Most Jews dismiss this by saying that they are the original starters of the religion. This ignores the fact that Judaism also derived from religions before it. The fact that it is an older religion does not make it a better one. You could also say that one of the pagan religions was the best since they are even older than the Jewish religion.
A sign of high culture of a nation is language. In India, China and the Middle East cultures have preserved their own language and spoke it continuously for thousands of years. Jews in Israel now speak Hebrew but it was a dead language for two thousand years and was re-instated in the early part of the 20th century by Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. Jews pale in comparison to other groups like Assyrians, for example, whose small communities that are left still speak ancient Aramaic. And have since 1,500 BC.
The only way Jews are going to get people to like them is if they change a little bit and stop their arrogance. Recognize they are just a group of people, at best like everyone else in the world, and nothing special. Stop being demeaning to other groups and realize the high value of other cultures around.

guess I would like to know why you would stereotype a whole "people"? When one says "all blank are blank", than that person is an idiot in my personal opinion. I think I can speak for most here when saying that.
Also,( hypothetical) just because I have money doesn't mean I won't make my child work and earn their way. How did I get money? hard work. Where does hard work come from? Work ethics. How does one acquire work ethics? By not having mommy and daddy wipe your butt for ya. You want a car, get a job and buy one (like the guy you are trying to leach from did).
I agree with most everything except your observations of the kid Edan. There's no reason to assume that dad is "too cheap." Dad might just think his son needs to struggle and EARN his way through life as he did and not have crap handed down to him. You can be certain that his dad won't let him starve to death or end up in jail because he can't make rent. But I can certainly appreciate avoiding the makings of spoiled brats who have no concept of value through having to earn their way through life. I like your observations on other reglions though.
I'm pretty sure that most religions though have a concept of "good people" who receive the gifts of God and "bad people" who won't though. Jews' "goys" and Christians' "sinners" aren't so different. So I don't see them as being different in the respect that they claim special privileges over the unblessed, however I think it would be healthier if people of all religions came to recognize separate faiths who worship a single God as equals worshipping the SAME God with only subtle variations and language differences.
I think part of Perlmans anti-Jewish attitudes come from the fact that he is only half Jewish. His father is Jewish and I'm guessing his mother is not. He has this internal conflict about being or not being Jewish. He is a confused person who lashes out at the Jewish half of his background. I'm sure his Father and Jewish ancestors must be very proud of what he's become.
Jewishness descends through the female side you cannot be half-Jewish if your mother is a Jew. Rather you are 100 % Jewish. A child of a Jewish father and non-jewish mother has to convert.

About the "cheapness" thing, i know plenty of jews who can't hold onto money. Ad populem attacks are ridiculous and ignorant. Scondly, Jews, on the whole, are a very successful minority (part of the reason that they have been hated thorughout the ages). Throuhgout history, jews have become prominent in politics and economics simply because they HAD TO to survive. This is especially important in an ultra-capitalist society where money does translate to power. Judaism is one of the last remaining examples of natural selection in the human race. What i mean is that medicine has essencially wiped out "natural" natural selection. What we are left with is survival absed on military might and intelligence. Im not advocating social darwinism, but over the centuries, intelligent/farsighted jews have been the ones who survived...just something to think about.
I am part of the reform movement, and i recently returned from Israel from a7 week program studying history. I must point out that for every statement in the talmud, there is a counter-argument. that is the nature of the document. And oral law is in practice not followed as strictly as written law, the tanach.
The old testament is based in large part on pagan documents, including hammurabi code and the nuzzi documents. It is a compilation of moral laws, and is a guide to some, and absolute law to others.

And for all the crazy christians who so vehemently quote the "his blood is on our hands and those of our descendents" or whatever drivel, i would like to teach you about something. During the Procurator age, there were 4 main sects of jews. The Sadduces, a priest caste, the pharisees, the poor rabbinical masses, the essenes, a group that rejected both, and the Zealots, a small group of radicals who hated roman dominance. Most jews would not have chosen to kill jesus. he was asimple rabble-rouser with a powerful voice and good moral lessons. However, when pilate gave the decision to the jews, the zealots were the ones who attended the trial. Pilate apparently sided w/ yehoshua and the zealots hated him 4 it...
As for the "blood on our hands" thing, I will make an amazing revalation to you. The zealots were wiped out shortly after. Anybody know what the great revolt was? it culminated on massada when teh remaining zealots and their families committed suicide 2 avoid horrible death at teh hands of the romans. No more descendents, no more eternal damnation. amazing isn't it?
I am not going to argue theology all day (i would like to, but this is not the forum 4 it). The jews were kicked out of their homeland centuries ago, and assimilated in2 other nations, customs, and languages. When jews were returning to israel, they wanted to keep their home languages. Hillel would have been content to keep german as the official language. But cultural zionism sprouted up by, as you said, Ben-Yehudah.

Even if the wildly improbale allagation that Hitlers mother was Jewish is true. He was certainly raised a Catholic. Hitlers mother can in no way be blamed for the 1000 years of church inspired anti-semitism in Europe. It was this to which Hitler appealed in his drive for mass support, and to blame for the failures of German Militarism in World War 1.
