| Set to wed ... is Keanu finally happy in love?
THE Matrix star Keanu Reeves is reportedly set to marry old flame, actress Autumn MacIntosh.
Friends told Britain's Daily Star newspaper that Reeves proposed after rekindling his romance with Autumn, whom he dated in the 90's. He reportedly asked the actress to be his wife in a Los Angeles restaurant.
A source is quoted by the newspaper saying: “Keanu and Autumn have known each other for years. In May, they got it together again and over the last few months Keanu started thinking about settling down. Commitment is a huge deal to Keanu.”
Reeves and blonde MacIntosh were recently snapped enjoying a marathon kissing session in a car park in Santa Monica, California and have been spotted on a string of dates in Los Angeles.
Despite the meteoric success of his Hollywood career, both Reeves’s family life and love life have been dogged by disaster.
The star’s ex-convict father, Sam, abandoned both he and his mother when he was just a few years old.
Later, the Reeves family was again rocked when an argument between Reeves’s sister, Kim - who has been battling leukaemia - and her mother over an English woman she had taken on as an adoptive daughter caused a bitter rift.
And, until hooking up with MacIntosh again this May, Reeves had been single since splitting with long-term love Jennifer Syme, who tragically gave birth to the actor's stillborn child in 1999. | |
