LAS VEGAS -- Hotel heiress Nicky Hilton married a New York money manager before dawn Sunday in an impromptu ceremony, according to court filings obtained by The Associated Press.
Hilton, 20, married Todd Andrew Meister, 33, at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, according a Clark County marriage license. A woman who answered the phone at the chapel declined comment.
"Access Hollywood," which first reported the wedding, said older sister Paris Hilton and actress Bijou Phillips were present during the 2:30 a.m. ceremony.
The Hilton sisters were in town for a Stuff magazine party at the Palms Casino Resort, where they were joined by Meister and Nicole Richie for dinner late Saturday, resort owner George Maloof Jr. said.
Maloof, who confirmed the ceremony had taken place, said the couple gave no indication of their plans.
Nicky Hilton, younger sister of "The Simple Life 2" star Paris Hilton, has dabbled in acting, appearing in "Wishman" in 1991 and presenting at MTV award shows. | | Reply To this Message

A "glowing" Nicky Hilton has confirmed TV reports she wed her money manager Todd Andrew Meister on Sunday morning amidst a host of famous friends.
The hotel heiress and socialite, 20 -- sister of reality TV star Paris -- married Meister, 33, at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in Nevada's Sin City at 2:30 a.m. after an 18-month courtship.
Hilton's spokesman Elliot Mintz says, "They're happy and doing well.
"This is a real, meaningful, loving relationship. They are glowing."
Nicky's sister Paris, best friend Bijou Phillips, actress Tara Reid, 'N Sync singer Lance Bass and "That '70s Show" star Danny Masterton were among the wedding party.
Nicky and Paris were in town for a Stuff magazine party at the Palms Casino Resort, where they were joined by reality TV star Nicole Richie for an evening meal on Saturday.
The resort's owner George Maloof Jr. confirmed the ceremony had taken place, but was shocked because the couple gave no indication of their plans.
Mintz says the newlyweds are back home in Los Angeles where they are staying in a local hotel and are planning where to honeymoon. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | SURE, they wed on a whim. But they're going to give their marriage a shot.
That's what one of Nicky Hilton's friends said yesterday about the 20-year-old hotel heiress' quickie Las Vegas wedding over the weekend to New York party pal Todd Meister, 33.
"Todd treats her like gold, and they have an amazing chemistry," the friend said. She said Meister, who just bought a brownstone in SoHo, now plans to move to California to be with Nicky, who's been sharing a house in the Hollywood Hills with her sister, Paris.
And as the young lovebirds spent yesterday holed up in a romantic honeymoon suite in Los Angeles, Nicky's parents said through pals that they were overjoyed at the merger.
After all, Meister's not "an unknown quantity" to them, having been a longtime friend of Nicky's, one source said.
Nicky's thrilled mom, Kathy Hilton, has even offered to have her daughter re-enact her nuptials in a proper church wedding and then throw a big party afterward, the source said.
Meister, a high-rolling Upper East Side socialite who's dated Nicky on and off since March 2003, jetted into Vegas on a private plane Saturday to attend a Stuff magazine party with Nicky, Paris and other bicoastal boldfacers, including Nicole Richie, Tara Reid and Bijou Phillips.
The party was supposed to be part of a "girls weekend," but ended with Meister and Hilton tying the knot at around 2:30 Sunday morning at a Las Vegas wedding chapel.
Hilton wore an aqua-blue silk dress, while Meister sported a button-down shirt and pants.
Paris witnessed the vows, along with Phillips and comic Jeff Beacher, who has a show at the Vegas Hard Rock Cafe.
The low-key event was pure Nicky, said Hilton family friend Couri Hay.
"She didn't want to end up like Bennifer," Hay said, referring to the ill-fated, much-ballyhooed wedding plans of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
There was a lot of smooching going on between Nicky and Meister during the ceremony, a source said, and when the kiss-the-bride part came around, Nicky and Todd had a "healthy makeout session."
But despite this passionate lip lock, not everybody in their circle is convinced the union will last.
"This is not the real deal, and I'm sure it will be annulled in three days," said one of Meister's pals, who believes that Nicky and Paris cooked up the marriage as a publicity stunt.
Meister has been a friend of the Hilton family since Paris and Nicky were kids, having grown up in their chichi Upper East Side and Hamptons milieu, thanks to his mega-rich dad, Robert Meister, the vice chairman of Aon Corporation, a global insurance brokerage.
Todd Meister was a football star at posh Riverdale Country School, then got a business degree at Harvard and established a company in the mid '90s to invest in Internet start-ups. They sold the company in 2000; now Todd works as a hedge-fund manager.
He also finds time to party a lot.
"He's a socialite and a Hamptons regular," said a friend. "He's very successful, smart and witty, with a great sense of humor."
Meister made the gossip pages in 2001, when sexy heiress Samantha Boardman dumped Cond‚ Nast editorial director James Truman for him.
Boardman later dumped Meister after she reportedly caught him in flagrante delicto with a 19-year-old coed.
Meister later dated one of Nicky's friends, Florida socialite Charlotte Freund.
There's a 13-year age difference between the two, but Nicky's friend insists that's no big deal.
"Nicky's mature, she's not a baby," the friend says.
"She gets a kick out of Todd, and he gets a kick out of her."

More details are emerging about Sunday's surprise wedding between hotel heiress Nicky Hilton, 20, and little-known financier Todd Andrew Meister, 33.
The couple exchanged vows in a 3 a.m. ceremony at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel. It was the first marriage for both. Guests included older sister Paris Hilton and actress Bijou Phillips.
Nicky and Meister have dated on and off for several years, Entertainment Tonight reports. They got together again last year after Nicky broke up with MTV VJ Brian McFayden, the New York Daily News reports.
Meister is described as a jet-setting playboy and New York money manager. He's the son of Robert Meister, vice chairman of Aon Group Inc., a global insurance brokerage firm. His mother, Wendy, died of cancer in 2001.
The Hilton clan has blessed the quickie Vegas wedding.
"I love Todd," Paris told Us Weekly. "(He and Nicky) have been best friends forever and have always talked about doing this. ... They're a great couple."
"We really, really love Todd," her mom, Kathy Hilton, told Us. "He's the greatest, funniest, sharpest guy you've ever met."
Dad Rick Hilton told ET: "Kathy would have loved to plan a formal wedding, yet Nicky opted for a small quiet ceremony."
The Hilton sisters were in Vegas for a Stuff magazine weekend bash. They started at the Palms Casino Resort's Rain nightclub late Friday, followed by a 4 a.m. Saturday outing to the Spearmint Rhino strip club, according to ET, which was following the girls for an upcoming story about their pal Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's daughter.
At Stuff's party Saturday, the Hiltons hung out with Tara Reid, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. At an after-party, Nicky sneaked away from the ET cameras. An hour later, she was married. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | HILTONS CLAMP DOWN ON WEDDING PHOTO RIGHTS
The Hilton family called on the high-powered Las Vegas attorney who helped Britney Spears annul her 55-hour marriage to keep forbidden snapshots of daughter Nicky's shock wedding from the Internet.
After learning that 90 stills from Nicky's surprise Sunday morning nuptials at the Vegas Wedding Chapel were being offered to the world's photo agencies on Monday, the Hiltons acted quickly to take charge of the illicit photos.
Nicky and her new husband, Todd Meister, demanded that all chapel cameras were turned off for their ceremony, but a bidding war started when agencies heard that snapshots were available, despite the couple's ban.
The Hiltons called in David Chesnoff, who helped Britney end her marriage to Jason Alexander in January, to intervene and take charge of the sale of the pictures.
Chesnoff convinced chapel bosses not to release the pictures without permission. People magazine then won the bidding war to land the world exclusive rights to the photos. | | Reply To this Message

Newly married socialite Nicky Hilton is already at loggerheads with husband Todd Meister, over her close pal Bijou Phillips.
The sister of controversial reality star Paris is stuck in the middle of a feud between Phillips and her new husband, with friends fearing the argument could lead the couple to the divorce courts.
According to insiders, Todd is deeply unimpressed with the repeated bad behavior exhibited by Phillips.
Page Six says Meister spent their honeymoon making nasty comments about the model/actress, warning fellow revelers to keep her away from their boyfriends.
One source says Meister warned: "Be careful or else Bijou's going to hook up with your boyfriends under the table!" | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | Time's just not right, so Hilton is splitting
Face it -- was social lioness Nicky Hilton going to spend a lifetime with somebody named Todd Meister? Doubtful!
Ever since Hilton, 21, capped off a wild Las Vegas weekend with a 2 a.m. wedding on Aug. 15 to money manager pal Meister, 33, Hilton's family -- including sister Paris, 23 -- has defended her decision to marry so young. But on Oct. 2, the Nickster turned up at a political fund-raiser in Hollywood without her wedding ring, reports Us Weekly.
Now Us confirms: "They're working on an annulment. Nicky and Todd remain the best of friends, but she is 21, and it's just not the right time in her life for her to be married. He lives in New York; she's in L.A. (see "Briefly" item about Katie Couric at left) She loves Todd. It's just that now is not the right time for her." (An annulment is the way Britney Spears shucked hubby Jason Alexander earlier this year.)
Us says Hilton and Meister split several weeks ago, and coincidentally Hilton's been spotted with actor Kevin Connolly, 30, of HBO's "Entourage." Marry in haste, repent in leisure!

Nicky Hilton and her husband Todd Meister are thinking about splitting, their spokesperson has confirmed.
The pair were reported to be planning a split this week, less than two months after their August 15 wedding -- because they are currently working on opposite sides of the country.
And a representative for the couple says, "They are still very close -- she has to center her work in Los Angeles and he is anchored in New York, so (splitting up) is something they are discussing."

What a load of they knew that they would be apart before they got married and it's not like either of them are too poor to fly to wherever the other one is for a weekend. I know couples who live on other sides of the world and only see eachother every few months and they don't get divorced.
Excuses, excuses, excuses. Sounds like they just made a big mistake and don't want to admit it.

Nicky Hilton and Todd Meister's divorce might last longer than their marriage now that Nicky has thrown a wrench in the gears.
Well, not a wrench. Rather, a 10-carat diamond ring.
The sticking point in their proceedings is the rock, estimated to be worth $1 million, which Nicky wants as a memento of their romantic six-week marriage, reports People magazine.
The ring is understandably important to Meister, since it belonged to his late mother.
But a friend of the couple told us, "The ring is a nonissue.
Whoever thinks it is doesn't know what they're talking about."

Hotel heiress and newlywed Nicky Hilton has reportedly reignited her romance with actor Kevin Connolly as her brief marriage to money manager Todd Meister crumbles.
Paris Hilton's younger sister, 21, shocked Hollywood when she and 33-year-old Meister wed in a Las Vegas wedding chapel in the early hours on August 15.
After less than two months as husband and wife, the pair decided to split earlier this month and are reportedly seeking an annulment.
According to Page Six, over the past few weeks, Nicky has been spotted with "Entourage TV" hunk Connolly at a series of nightclubs and was spotted together partying with Paris, Leonard DiCaprio, Luke Wilson and Pete Sampras at a Las Vegas nightspot over the weekend.

| Posted by: schmiggens | | You've really got to wonder what sort of values the Hilton parents have tried to instill in their girls. They both have a different guy every week and they are rude and obnoxious. Is it that they're rich and live in that different world of celebrities or are they just sluts? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | NICKY HILTON ENDS MARRIAGE
It's splitsville in Sin City.
Hotel heiress Nicky Hilton and New York businessman Todd Andrew Meister have officially ended their brief marriage.
A Las Vegas judge on Tuesday granted the newlyweds an annulment, according to a joint statement issued by the couple's representatives.
"Both parties have ended the marriage amicably, and they remain good friends," the statement said.
Hilton, 21, married Meister, 33, at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel on Aug. 15.
It's not clear when the pair filed the annulment paperwork in Clark County Family Court. A court spokesman said a case under the name of Todd Meister was filed Monday but the judge sealed it.

| Posted by: schmiggens | | How long after a wedding can you have an anullment? They've been married for ages. And isn't it part of the deal that you're not supposed to have consumated the marriage? Somehow I doubt they fulfilled that requirement. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: schmiggens | | IT’S NEW YORK FOR PARIS
Paris Hilton is back in New York City with a vengeance. She’s been partying nonstop at clubs with her ex-brother-in-law, Todd Meister. The two were even spotted kissing briefly on Thursday night inside Bungalow 8, in the same spot where earlier in the week a female fan had fawned all over Hilton. "You’re so pretty!" said her admirer, to which Hilton tossed back, "I know." | | Reply To this Message
