i was bored. a best selling author and a clay fan are writing a book called Clay Aiken: Everything You've Ever wanted to know about the singing sensation. it's due in Sept.

NR:you're rooming with Kim Locke, right?
CA: yes
NR: What's her worst habit as a roomate?
CA: Oh, goodness. Let's see. It's not a bad habit, I guess. She gets up early. She's an early riser, and I'm not such an early riser. She gets up in the morning and makes breakfast. And it's not that she's loud, but it's that it smells so good and it wakes me up. But she does it in her underwear sometimes, which I guess is probably not the best idea.
NR: What's you're worst habit as a roommate?
CA: Oh, goodness. I'm probably pretty messy. She keeps her room as dirty as possibly can be,but the rest of the house she keeps very clean. Me, on the other hand, my room is not so bad, but the rest of the stuff - like the living room and everything, I just leave stuff lying around all the time.
NR: Which celebrity were you most surprised to hear your music?
CA: Celebrities enjoy my music? Brooke Burke, you know who Brooke Burke is?
NR: Yeah
CA: Yeah, she's a big fan. That's good.
NR: What item of food has not yet been fried that you think could be fried and still taste good?
CA: Everything can be fried and taste good. Listen I'm from the South. We fry everything. There's nothing that's left that hasn't been fried, except for maybe curtains. I don't think there's anything else. I've had fried banana, had fried Snickers bar. Fried bologna's good. Fried pickle chips! Have you ever had fried pickle chips?
NR: Yes I have. I had some of those at the fair last year.
CA: That's good stuff, right there. I want some of those.
NR: When you're at the bar as you say hypothetically in "When You Say You Love Me," what's the drink of choice for you?
CA: Milk
NR: How about a hip-hop crew?
CA: I'd wanna be, like Snoop Dogg's sidekick or something like that.

OMG!!!! That's too funny! i dont really like his choice of foods though. i've seen people make fried snickers barz and i didnt look that apitizing (sp), but fried pickle chips? that's nasty man!
maybe he can take some kind of pill for it... like people who are lactose intollerant can.. or maybe he's not badly allergic to it. like ppl who are allergic to cats yet still own them...
someone said they read it in a magazine or something. but it IS possible to become allegic to sumthing that you werent allergic to when you were younger.
I love clay soooo much after my concert, good thing that I went to that concert, cause I was starting to think that I didn't like him as much, but now I luv him again!
I know, at one point it's like it all hit me at once, I almost started to cry, because I was again figuring out how much I really do love Clay Aiken! I love him like I would love my husband if I was old enough to get married, you know what I mean. I would do anything in the world for him!
i just went to airplay central, and i watched to clip over again, from when he was the sexiest male singer from instyle. and the girl said he just didnt win, he won by a landslide. haha, he beat out usher, and justin.
I have only had one dream that had Clay as a main character, and we were getting married, but all we did was kiss after we said the vows and then I woke up.

i like her songs, i just dont like her personality, cause yeah, she disses ppl, when that person did nothing to her. although i can see why she dissed hilary.

Well I say whatever I think... but no one knows it, cuz I only say it to my friends or family... but when you're famous and you say something like that, its like a big thing.
I know that there's a lot of things I've said that could get me into trouble if I was famous...
It's like how Clay hates cats and accidentially ran over his kitty years ago. Because he's famous, PETA went after him. But if i ran over a cat, almost no one would no about it, so no one would care.
lol. i dont know. my mom never told me. she just said we're rich, i asked where did you get all this money. ur grampa he was the governor whenever it was my grampa's birthday, we had ceremonies instead. lol and all these ppl took pics, i didnt get it though. i was 4 yrs. back then! lol. my grandpa even paid for the house i'm living in right now.
man that would be awesome...anywho...I don't know if it's the same in Raleigh or NY but when Diana got the key to snellville all it means is that you get a really big golden key and then you are honored by your city because the city honors you...most the time it is the city where the star is from....you become part of your cities history....it's the greatest honor you can have in your city...(that's what I got from the news when they showed Diana getting her's).....
I guess it's a big thing to them because not a lot of people get the key to the city...I mean I know here...well I've never heard of anyone getting it but Diana and she was the youngest to get it here...I don't know...I guess to them...it's big but not so much to me....
yeah i know what you mean. she must have felt rpoud. its more like a symbolic honouring thing though... its not like, as aiken4omc said, its not like she got keys to treasure!

i'm listening to a live version of Perfect Day right now. i am super totally mega obsessed with that song. i'm serious. i am so in love with it. if it proposed to me, i would say yes in a heartbeat. even if the engagement ring was tiny and cheap. then we'd get married in a small capel in Vegas so it could be over with as soon as possible and we could hop right into wedded bliss together, forever. then we would have baby Whitneys and baby Perfect Days. omgomgomgomgomg! i didnt want to start a thread of this, but i was just watching this clip of when clay went out to the bus at the Rockford concert, to meet his fellow fans. and there was this girl who just GRABBED Clay, like he was a piece of nothing, look at Clay's face! i'm sry i had to post this, but he looked so scared! THAT IS SICK! FRICKEN SICK. WHY would someone who calls themself a FAN do that to him. Not only that person who grabbed him....but just everything about that video bugs me. He was WALKING TO THE BUS. He can't do ANYthing anymore. That video makes me want to cry. It makes me sooo sorry for Clay. Seriously... It makes me sick. All those people crowded around, waiting just to see an extra glance of the man. OMG. I admit, i wanted to wait for the bus too... I didnt actually plan on it, but I thought how cool it might be. But wow..... the screaming, all the girls crowded around... all of it just makes me want to cry. I'm used to hearing screaming like that, at concerts, or when he's on tv ... but that was just his regular life for him. He was just going outside, walking to the bus. And people screamed like crazy. Can you imagine if your life was like that? If you just walked through hallways, restaurants, and malls and people screamed like rabid, crazy people who can't control themselves.
I'd rather not be a fan than have to see him go through that.
my thoughts exactly willent! i actually had a tear roll down my face when i saw it. i mean i heard that he got grabbed during when he came out to the bus, but when i saw it. it's too sad. very rude and mean. they need to control themselves. i know they're excited but there are other ppl who are as excited as them, and they just got to touch his hand, and then the girl grabbed him!!!!!!! i mean they should of just touch his hand, i mean that would've have been enough. they should've have been very thankful that they at least had the chance to at least shake his hand, but i guess that wasnt enough. they did not just ruin other ppl's chances to meet him, but they ruined everybody's chances. i mean clay might not want to come out again cause of that!!
to me, its not even that the person grabbed him. i bet she (i'm assuming it's a she) was really over come with emotion and felt that she loves him sooo much. I can't believe anyone would grab him like that.... but to me, its more than that.
All those people screamed when he walked out. He was just a regular guy, wearing a t-shirt, walking. It wasn't anything special. He was just being a regular person. He wasnt singing, he wasnt dressed up, he wasnt even really talking or being cute. Yet they all went crazy and screamed. It disturbs me to see hundreds of people screaming over a regular man. .... I can't believe I'm a part of that. And the thing that bugs me so much... is that I would have done the same. I wouldnt have grabbed him... but I would have screamed and went crazy and probably even cried just seeing a regular person walk past me.
Watching that video put a lot of things into prespective, and it made me feel really sad to be a Claymate.
Claymates are supportive and loyal fans.... but that video really showed what else Claymates can be. And it's not good.
well, i never really meet clay or even seen him live, so i wouldnt know how it feels. i think there are lots of reasons ppl think bad of us, and that's one of them. there have been ppl pushing other ppl just to get closer to clay. we must remember that Clay is also a human.
Yeah.... when i saw him live i freaked out. actually, i got tychardia...(sp??) and my heart started beating really fast... but it was ok. i get it a lot....
I was going crazy and i screamed a lot. i feel bad now knowing his whole life is listening to ppl scream.
clay just thinks the girl hot or whatever. but i heard he said sumthing like can i come home with you(probably not those exact words). i'm sure clay isnt going to date one of his fans though.

then last night I hada dream that i was talking to Kalan from Canadian Idol... but he was just a normal guy in my school.
kewl, I had a dream about clay once that he was teaching my sunday school leasson, which is wierd cuz i never go to sunday school.............. but it was still kewl, like i sat next to him during church and we went out to a one place to eat with everyone from church, it was really strange but it had clay and it wasnt bad so i'm not complaining!
