We only ask because the 23-year-old - real name Cornell Haynes Jr - has taken to advertising for people to party with.
Under the headline "Hip-Hop's very own Nelly", an ad on US site Craigslist invited people to visit the singer, whose hits include Hot In Here. It read: "I'm looking for attractive people to attend a party with Nelly on August 8.
"If interested please leave me your name and contact information so I can give you the location and time."
