Kind of a quiet board around here - any thoughts on the weekend?
Medallist - Not nearly good enough to run that fast early and not stop.
Rock Hard Ten - Got run off his feet. Beat next to nothing in California and didn't have to do much other than show up to do it - much harder going in the Haskell.
Lion Heart - Impressive - I thought he was more authoritative in victory than the margin suggests.
Purge - There to pick up the pieces; not ready to forget dismal recent outings.
I'm not a big believer in standing in the stall - Birdstone hasn't run since the Belmont and I don't think that's the best way to either win this race or be ready for the fall. |
