Amish in the City

Has anyone watched the show and what do you think of it? It's become my favorite reality show next to American Idol. But I've been extremely interested in the Amish lifestyle eversince I read the books Angels Watching Over Me, Lifted Up by Angels, and Until Angels Close my Eyes by my favorite author, Lurlene McDaniel. And I really liked to see the the interaction of hte Amsih with modern technology.

I've watched it a couple of times. It seems to me that the Amish leave their roots more easily than one would think they could. They seem at ease in bikinis.
The boys seem to be more restrained than the girls. All in all, I don't think it's a very good show. I wonder if it's really representative of how the Amish react to worldly things. I'm really glad they got to see the ocean and the beach. No one should miss that experience.
