Do you think Dumbledore would teach DADA?

No, I don't think Dumbledore would, my moneys on Bill Weasley or someone we haven't met yet.

I think it will be a new character. There's not yet been a DADA teacher that was introduced in previous books.

I think it will be someone new. Every DADA teacher so far has had a "secret".

Plus it makes it so much more interesting if we have a new, strange teacher to learn about.

Dumbledore would be awesome. I think it will be someone else.

I think Dumbledore would be great as a DADA teacher, but he's probably already got his hands quite full. The real Moody should do it.

Someone from the Order, like Tonks

The real Moody would be awesome. Tonks is needed as an Auror.

It'd be nice if they could get Dumbledore in a class, even as a substitute for one lesson...

I figure the new DADA teacher'll be someone new too though.

Imagine having Tonks as a teacher!!! Cool!

It would really be cool if Tonks were the next DADA teacher, but i don't think she will be: the teacher is always a completely new character and usually has some kind of a secret or a hidden agenda.
But, what about some of the other Aurors? Someone that wasn't mentioned yet? Maybe one of them has been or will be hurt in battle, or otherwise disabled to fight so they're gonna teach for a while before they get ready for the battle again. I mean, Aurors get hurt all the time. It would be even better if the Auror was a part of the Order, so he/she and HRH trio could make secret plans and explore about the castle. coooool......

I just pictured Mundungus in the DADA role.

I don't know about sixth year, but I'll bet you anything Snape gets it in the seventh. At the end of OotP, Dumbledore was admitting to a bunch of mistakes, maybe he'll decide not letting him teach was one too.

Mundungus!

He would be trying to sell the kids half-price cauldrons during lessons!!

It will definetly be someone new. Every year it has been and every DADA teahcer has had something to do with harry or Voldemort....and some have turned out evil........So don't be suprise if this one turns out as bad as the other ones......................

The person I would want back teaching would be Proffesor Lupin!..In my opinion he was the best DADA teacher....( has everyone forgotten about him?)

what about snape ... it will be like " harry come and let me hex you" or it could be dumbledore (unlikely i know)

in all seriousness i dont think dumbledore will let snape be dada tech now he knows that snape made it easier voldemort to get in harrys mind

Snape didn't make it easier to get into Harry's mind. It's Harry's fault for not practising.

I still stand by what I said about Snape getting it in Book 7. He didn't make it easier to get into Harry's mind- it was the effort needed to practice Occlumency and Harry's slacking off about the homework that did that. It wouldn't have mattered if Dumbledore or anyone else had taught him. He still would have been too mentally exhausted to be at his best.
