Hi All. My fiance, who has worsening RRMS since 2000, has recently shifted from Avonex to Copaxone due to the negative efect of neutralising AntiBodies on Avoonex. Are there any studies beig conducted for ANTEGREN in relation to COPAXONE, being the only non-interferon drug, that may help her soon? If there are any studies, please send me whatever information that may be availble. My email is: wantedmaniac@yahoo.com. Thanks you very much in advance and I am sure that information on this regard would encourage all Copaxone dependents.

Hi WantedM,

I have been on Copaxone for 5 years now. Doing great. I have discussed Antegren at great length with my neuro. She is very excited about this new drug. She tells me because Copaxone is not made by the same company that makes the Antegren, there are currently no studies being done on the two together. I too hope that changes. I am very much looking forward to Antegren. Wouldn't it be great to only have a once a month IV??? Way better than once a day shot!

I understand what you mean Beffy. My mother has ms since 1994 and she has been on Copaxone for the past 2 years, and it is hard having to see her give herself a shot everyday. When I am home I give her the shots, But it is still hard knowing that she must take a shot everyday...
