I think the wall will do nothing to protect Israel. And what will it do for its relationships in the Middle East. Do you think a country can be sustained on guns and bombs alone. A move towards peace is needed, and a wall doesn't do that. Isolation in a such a manner will lead to destruction in my eyes. That's why you have to learn how to work with the world.

I think the United States needs to learn this else they will suffer economically, politically, and socially around the world. You can't always be at the top by displaying raw power and expect to stay up there long.

Its obviously a miracle of God Almighty that ISRAEL still stands.
There is no other explanation to the fact that she is still standing whilst being completely surrounded by her enemies.
She will NEVER be overtaken by her enemies. When the false messiah appears to save her from her enemies, he will desecrate the temple for a season.
A season is all this faker has. This fake messiah will come from the UN or a "government" similar to the UN. He will only rule for a very very very short time.

The true Messiah Jesus will come and annihilate ISRAEL's enemies and there will be true and lasting peace. He wont need bombs or guns or any thing else. He will speak and ISRAEL's enemies will perish.

Bible doesn't give exact dates and times. It states what WILL happen.

When the false Messiah comes into power it will begin the tribulation.

the faker will appear to "save" Israel" at the beginning of the tribulation. Many of the Jews will believe he is the true Messiah. 3 1/2 years later at the midpoint of the tribulation, he will wage war on Israel, two-thirds of the Jews will die.
Jesus will come near the end and save the remaining Jews and they will know He is the true Messiah.

It's known that the final battle will occur at the end of the 7 year tribulation.

So if the tribulation starts tomorrow, the final battle will occur in 7 years.

If the tribulation starts 2 years from now, the final battle will occur in 9 years.

No one knows the time or the hour, we (Christians) are commanded to look for the signs and know the season we are in. We are commanded to be ready. Ready in the sense that we are looking for Him.

i think the problem that the UN has with the wall is that it violates Homeowner's Association rules

You are sorely mistaken Inner City. That wall is vital to peace efforts in that region.

Let’s be practical shall we? The methods Arabs and Palestinians used over the last century has shown that that wall is a direct result of Palestinian efforts to sustain violence in the region. When they bomb Israel it’s resistance. When they are successful, it’s celebration. When Israel comes in to rid the bomb factories, it’s aggression. When checkpoints go up to restrict terrorist movement, it’s humiliation. When a wall goes up to prevent it suicide bombings, it’s oppression.

It’s an ongoing pattern with them simply because Israel is putting them through some inconvenience? So the wall should come down and Israeli citizens should die?

The wall, the incursions, the checkpoints have all be in response. Israel didn’t just show up putting these things into existence without cause. Negotiations aren’t entered into in good faith, and the ideologies of Israel’s destruction are underlying sentiment obviously.

I see no other alternative but to build that wall. For the sake of peace the violence has to end. This wall is accomplishing much of it. I may not be 100% the answer but if the violence drops because of it, in the end everyone will be winners.

Over the weekend I was at a flea market buying things to resell for a lot more money than I paid to the paupers who are usually there. So, I decided to make a comment on something one obese, dirty shirt wearing disgusting person was selling. He was selling a stack of Conan and the Barbarian comic cards. The top card was of the cartoon Conan comic character holding up the head of an opponent he had just battled and beheaded. I made the comment "I bet al-Qaeda would like this one". What a mistake it was to say that to the beast behind the table I was at. He responded with, "they should cut off Bush's head" My first reaction was shock and silence. My second was a full realization of the type of person I was dealing with. My third reaction was to make a defensive comment about our common President which was, "It is not his fault" meaning, any death or beheading occuring was not because of President Bush's decision to fight terrorism. The fat man suddenly lost interest as he tried to scam another person into buying some piece of crap he was selling. My 4th reaction was wanting to inflict a lot of pain on him, but I did not act on this feeling. I then walked away knowing I was right again.

The hypocrisy of the UN goes even deeper.

U.N. Press Release

The United Nations is set to begin a slate of projects--including the construction of a new perimeter fence--to bolster safety.

The fence that currently runs along First Avenue will be replaced and new gates installed, and the lighting and surveillance systems along the perimeter will be enhanced to deter unauthorized entry, according to UN spokesman Fred Eckhard.

The perimeter fence currently present at First Avenue was not part of the initial design for UN Headquarters, Mr. Eckhard noted. It was added later, in consultation with New York City's Parks Department, to be compatible with the fences that encircle other city parks.

The new fence was designed by the Parks Department and personally approved by Secretary-General Kofi Annan, he added.

The USA needs to lock up the doors of the UN headquarters and slam shut their gates.
Let them fend on their own and build a new headquarters in Brussels, Belgium next to the EU headquarters, or even right next to the Vatican City.
Either way the anti-christ will have a short walk to work.
