| MIRAMAX REJECTS LOPEZ AND ANTHONY'S DUET
Superstar Jennifer Lopez has axed the duet she recorded with Marc Anthony for her new movie, "Shall We Dance," because movie bosses don't want their marriage to overshadow the film.
Miramax is now looking for different stars to re-record Lopez and Anthony's song "Sway," for the romantic comedy, in which she stars alongside Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon.
An insider tells Page Six, "Her engagement to Ben Affleck didn't help 'Gigli' or 'Jersey Girl,' and her marriage to Marc Anthony isn't going to help 'Shall We Dance.'
"Miramax doesn't want the publicity focusing on the two of them. They've been through that before. They want to keep the focus on the movie. J.Lo insisted on doing the recording with him (Anthony) in Miami. It cost Miramax more than $100,000."
The film will hit American cinemas this fall. | |
