i dont know who heather is or the person who just replied but i am intrested in knowing why people dont like orlando and i only so called joined this website today to find that out and i didnt join to start a fight

Orli, it's ok. We are pretty forgiving around here. I think that many feel that Orlando was given too much screen time in LOTR, more than his character deserved. It has to do with the "hot" factor I believe.

I don't think he was given to much screen time at all. He was given just as much as was needed so that his character had an active role, except for that "oh look at me i'll single handedly kill a giant elephant" part. that was overdoing it. The rabid fans and the fact that they overrate him is what ticks me off.

That and some people just watch the movie because the actors are hot and don't really care that the story is ******* awesome.

Yeah, and the guy is an absoute ass.

It the rabid fans. Plain and simple. Other than that, i really don't find anything wrong with him. I guess it's because he is under the stereotypical "teen hearthrob". I tend to not like those types.
