His performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" was absolutely moving...it was so angelic...He looked absolutely perfect...I am still crying like a baby from it....I stood up and I put my hand over my heart and I mouthed the words with Clay. He sang with the symphony that had a sound...I have to go now and pull myself together...

OMG, he looked so good last night. MOAM was moving. I love that one line..I added it to my signature....and he looked so good when he sung it last night....GBTUSA was good too...my mom loves that song and was singing along with Clay....it was great!!!!!

I was flipping channels last night and caught him doing God Bless the USA.

Lee Greenwood better watch out, they just found his replacement for that song.

He was great last night. I wish they had done GBTUSA a bit slower. It seemed too fast, but he was great.

he was good the whole night though....I was changing channels looking for him when I heard his voice singing....the national anthem and I was like "it's Clay" because his picture wasn't showing at the moment...it was great...till when he was singing...GBTUSA and my brother's woman was pissed that it was Clay singing it and not RUBEN, or FANTASIA...she liked fantasia...I told her because Clay was more popular and maybe everyone else was busy...and I also this was an important holiday to Clay now...as he said on GMA...

Happens to whose brother? Yeah I didn't get to watch Clay sing all of those songs, but they might be showing it for awhile.

I missed it the first time and spent the wee hours of the morning watching the whole show. It was a great tribute to us all. Of course I loved Clay and Whidden is right ,he outsang Greenwood, and I was thinking while he was really into the song, where have i heard this sung before by a male alone,

sorry Claysgurl, I should of said that I was talking about Brett being in the marines....and good point fuscia, that would sound strange if Fantasia sung that. He did do better then Lee Greenwood....and I loved when he said, "Start again with just my children and my wife", it was so sweet sounding and then when he was naming the different places in the USA...well I just thought them parts were really good....but the ending of the song is the best, when he does that little mic over the shoulder thing...with his hand....anywho the whole thing was AWESOME!!!!

Clay was not before the public, of course he was in his relax mode,

When the performance was given I was struck by the Maturity Clay exhibitied. His suit was great, tie and Hair seemed a little darker then the old days. He no longer looked like a kid, but a true adult.

This last year has given him this maturity doncha think?

And if Rueben is so great why wasn't he invited to join in the celebration?
WE all know why, he is probably too busy eating himself to death. No, he couldn't carry the songs that Clay sang. No hard feelings Rueben fans

yea, I guess because he's not in the public yet..that's why he looks kinda rundown....I mean though, it doesn't even really look like Clay in the face but...it could just be me....

that's funny Detla, about Ruben...my brother's girl, hates anything I like...like she hates Clay, Diana, Kelly...and I think she does it just to get me mad...I mean I couldn't see Ruben singing them songs that Clay sung, so well....

Ruben sings in a very monotone type of way, he doesn't have range and he sounds tired when he sings, which i find very boring to listen to. he couldnt have done thouse songs like Clay does.

Clay has good range....Omg that pic just amazed me I don't know why that is him showing that he don't always have to have his hair fixed or anything but don't you think he would look cuter if he took off the hat and showed his beautiful hair?

I don't know..Ruben was always...kinda boring and sometimes he looks like he just wants to get off the stage and go sit down (and eat).....

Well, actually in weight Ruben is WAY bigger then Clay, although Clay is starting to gain a little weight! I mean, he was just on a rerun of that Jimmy Kimmel Show, and he looks like he has gained a little weight.

I have seen that in Clay that he is gaining weight but it doesn't look bad...YET...if he starts looking like Ruben...that i'll be scared....you know I don't get that Jimmy Kimmel show here...I stayed up intill 3:00 this morning...and it never came on...I was upset

Aww I feel sooo bad for you, and I think that he really is gaining weight.

I know, I was so mad but I have no idea why I don't have it here...I went to the site that has pictures from his show last night and he has gained a little weight and his hair is starting to grow out in the back but....he looks good!!!!!

I think that Clay will always look good even if he lets himself go to the dumps, which of course he won't do, but I think that his hair being longer looks really good!

his hair looks alright as of now...but any longer and it may...start to look bad...he is also letting it get dark..but I agree with you Claysgurl...I think we'll always think he is HOT no matter what....

Clay is growing into manhood right before Our eyes. He looks mature and his maturity was shown on the big show on 4th.

Just because his hair is a little longer and he has put on a few adult pounds, lets not get our selves up set over these little things. Just be grateful we are Clay mates and not Rubenesques. Hee Hee.

oh Clay with a mullet..... ...I don't know if I would want to see that...Clay is growing into a man...right before us...and I think he looked so good on the 4th thing.....he is HOT and nothing is really going to change that in my mind, well maybe if he grows a mullet...I may....

Oh Yeah he looks like his eyes are crossed, and witht he beard, maybe his eyes can't see his whole face so he can't see to shve properly. LOL
