Lets face the real facts.......Americas economy has been on its rear end for over 2 years even before the twin towers were on their rear ends..........nothing like a war to give the people confidence and boost the economy voters love it also......lets face it the Average American on the street would not even know where Iraq was on the map..........I would guess to say your country has just opened the door to a can of worms over the next ten years,...........good luck yous are going to need it.
p.s If anyone would know I would appreciate it dearly.... how many Jewish names in your government, including the ones that have change their names?............I believe you people have become the lackys of Israel.......money is power you know.........

Well, if we have become Israels lackeys, then your people must be our lackeys. Your government has supported us militarily since WW2. If we are so bad, then you guys must be nothing more than sheep...baa...Goodnight John Boy.

Our government supports causes it believes are right, not just what the US says. Our government has been pushing for action on many issues that the US chooses to ignore, like Zimbabwe for example. I think it's arrogent on your part to assume that just because the interests of the US and Australia have fallen on the same side of the fence in many situations means we are following the US blindly.

BTW, there's another factor here that I'll talk about, and that's mateship. It's an auzzie term, but I'd like to think it has some meaning outside our borders. The US are our allies, and we help them out when they need it, and we expect that the US will help us out when we need it. So far, we have both done just that. If the US have a problem they need assistance with, our prime minister is one of the first people you'll find on the phone offering support. If that makes us "sheep", then I'm proud to be one.

Then why is Israel allowed to get away with it?

Israel doesn't hate a certain nation, race or country. Again, you generalize saying that a certain country hates another country/race/nation.

Most of Israelis wish to live in Peace with the Palestinians. It's just that they have different opinions on how to achieve this peace. Some say IDF should stop the incursion and the terrorism would stop, others say that the IDF should continue to stop the terrorism and once terrorism is removed, a Palestinian state can be founded.

Some Israelis are so left-winged. There are families who have lost their relatives (brothers/sisters/children/parents/etc.) and say that they don't hate the Palestinians for that and understand why the relatives got killed. Don't think that Israelis HATE the Palestinians, it all is interpreted incorrectly.

Yeah right! Give me a friggin' break, I suppose only the Palestinians hate? Right? How could they not? Herded into ghettos, getting their homes bulldozed, "accidentally" being blown to bits because they happenned to be standing near a "militant" that was being blasted by an Apache helicopter? And all the while people like you say the Israelis are always right? When I watch one of those WWII holocaust movies, all I see is modern day Israel, with the Star of David replacing the Swastika.

I've never said Israel is always right. Neither have I said that Palestinians hate. There are Palestinians who are for peace, just like Israelis.

Only homes of terrorists are getting bulldozed. Apaches fire on terrorists as well. Sometimes, people who pass by get injured or killed too and I wish there was a better way to take out the terrorists, maybe there is but it's not something that we can know. All these things have been explained by Sindy and others but you seem to be repeating it over and over again.

I doubt I can convince you as you seem to be filled with hate against Israel. Hopefully you will get over your hatred and rationalize.

Just as you're filled with hatred toward Palestinians. Maybe "only homes of terrorists" are bulldozed, the equivilant would be if a murderer in New York, lived in a house with 5 other INNOCENT people, they should bulldoze the entire house...interesting concept. The Grandma who lives in the upper bedroom should get her place bulldozed too, typical Israeli fascist thinking!

It's more complicated than that and I've explained it before.

Saddam used to give $25,000 to family of terrorists encouraging others to commit terrorist acts. Bulldozing houses is a way to discourage them to do so - thinking that your family will stay homeless because of you, because you will commit a terrorist act makes you think again of your future actions. Unfortunately, this method is not so efficient and terrorist acts continue. Israeli security would gladly hear any suggestions from you of alternative methods to discourage terrorism. Apparently, despite the inefficiency of the current method, it seems to reduce the percentage of terrorist acts against Israel. If it proves that it doesn't, me and many others would strongly oppose this method as it puts to risk both IDF soldiers and Palestinian civilians.

gimme a break! you have absoulutly no idea what you're talking about! all you base your opinions on are sleezy no good excuse for media! all they do is show how poor the palastinians are, but never do they show the sobbing faces of an israeli mother who lost her child, killed on his way to school by a fanatic who thinks that by killing innocent children will gain eternal bliss! you know what, i say go ahead, kill yourself as much as you want, it's your belief, but why kill my friends?! and ofcourse, all you see is poor palastinians beeing abused by an israeli soldier. c'mon...... live one day in israel, one day, and then come back with these baseless accusations. ok?
