| The unfolding of 9/11 live on national tele. Is that what got everyone's attention? It seems since then everyone has made it there topic over dinner.
Where was everyone during the cold war and there opinions? Or about the dozens of bombings on the Ameicans before 9/11. It's because nobody had the interest before they saw the huge aircrafts plowing into the world trade centers, and the pentagon.
The americans have been part of a terrorism war for much longer than just 9/11. What about geting involved with the cold war with Russia and Afghanistan. True we went to Afghanistan and taught them how to win a war against Russia. Was it worth it? Our soldiers are living the outcome today.
For the 2nd time in history we actually made a counrty into 4th world. If the American's would have stuck around to help rebuild a government, it would have not been such big breeding grounds for terrorist organizations. Now in play they had Osama Bin Laden someone who was breeding his own sick and twisted views among poor people. He offered his kindness to theses people by rebuilding roadways and schools, and in return there silence.
Why was it that nobody was interested in terrorism so many years ago? Was it was because you could get up every morning turn your lights on in your home, take a shower in clean warm water, go to a nice frosty refrigerator and get a bite to eat, get into your car drive around, exercise your freedom of speech in almost every sentence, then later go out to the bar and have a nice cold one??
Fact.
I can tell you this; american agency's have known where Osama bin Laden is and has been. If you know anything about Pakistan and Afghanistan you should also know about the American involvement for many years then. Anyways A few years ago the American DEA in Pakistan was trying to crake down on the poppy farm population, the trade of Heroin, and Hash. When supplies where being destroyed in raids, Osama met with the DEA(americans) to come to an agreement. So why was it then that the americans didnt swoop him up? Simple reason, there will always be a reason to wage war, there will always be an important role for the president to play, there will just always be a reason.
Do not ask me where I got my source of information about the meetings with Osama Bin Laden as I can't compromise the saftey of those americans living in Pakistan.
