This would really help me, I'm creating a CD for my friend who is happy all the time.

I find the title of the thread VERY disturbing.

i'm not trying to make anyone depressed!! sad songs aren't necessarily a bad thing now, are they? sorry about the topic, i didn't think it was so disturbing...

Sad songs are fine, but suicide songs are very disturbing in my opinion.

I took the term "suicide song" to be sarcastic. We have a radio station here that plays nothing but these types of songs and I long ago nick-named it, the "suicide station".

Oh that's okay :-D either is okay, in making this CD I'm also trying to broaden my range of music that I listen to as well. Hear some artists and songs I don't usually listen to. I like all kinds of music, so anything you have, go for it!

For me, I thought that you were asking for a list of songs to commit suicide to.

This forum should be called Depressing songs coz sad songs means sad so you cry and depressing can relate to suicide.

I could go on forever. I dont think the topic was disturbing at all. Its a great topic. Sad songs can make you feel happy because when you hear them maybe you dont feel so alone anymore.

I agree...I find myself listening to depressing or angry music to vent my anger, I don't know why it helps...But it does, especially if you really crank it up

Portishead's good when you're in the mood for some sad songs.
