Yesterday the French stated that another entity (other than the US) should re-build Iraq. Wow...that's sweet. We go in, lose our men & women, spend all the money, take all the risks. Now the reign of Saddam is over and they want someone else to take the credit.

Well.....today is another story. Chaos is setting in Iraq.

UN......NOW is the time for you to step up and earn back some respect!!!!! NOW is the time to offer troops, aid, etc... to help bring normalcy to Iraq. Do your job! Do what is intended. Help bring peace, freedom, and liberty to an unsettled nation! By doing so you will not only help the immediate situation in Iraq, but will help keep some of the bully nations surrounding Iraq at bay. Not so much militarily at bay (which is important too), but politically at bay! If they know the UN is trying to bring peace to the region, it may keep the fringe governments in check!

UN.....act NOW!

You think the US messed up?
Do you think the majority of Iraqis think so?
You think the cheering in the street is propoganda? Fake?

Put away the political BS. The Iraqi people need aid and assistance to have a decent chance of establising themselves as a country with a future. The people who sits on the sidelines saying crap like "the US delt with Saddam without us, so now they can deal with this without us" loose any respect in my eyes.

Yes that would be rather convienient for the military planners wouldn't it, create Anarchy and then leave and let someone else sort out the mess of law and order.

Questioner - Darn, looks like you didn't make any plans to keep law and order when you went into Bagdad.

Don Rumsfeld - Why should we, it's a war for Christs sake

Questioner - Well apparently this could have been predicted by looking at past conflicts

Don Rumsfeld - Well I didn't think that would happen in this one, I though they would all be holding hands and dancing round in eternal happiness.

Questioner - What about all the looters, should you not be preventing this sort of thing?

Don Rumsfeld - I think the media are to blame here, they keep showing the same footage of some guy coming out of a building carrying a vase, its sensationalism.

Questioner - You do realise you have a duty under the Geneva Convention as an occupying force to protect the civilian population, and also a special duty to protect hospitals and so forth?

Don Rumsfeld - Darn this Geneva Convention gets on my tits

No you missed my point. USA starded this war by its own purposses. The freedom of those people is just the bonus, which they by the way now uses by justification to this war.

USA seems to think so that these organisations are nice ones as long as they are in his side.

Now some members in US gongress have already suggested that the WTO should be abolished. And why, because WTO dare to get settled in europes side in that case about customs duty of steel, what USA has settled.

"You are with us or you are against us", does this sound familiar...????

If u, Frenhfries, think it is a matter of principal for UN not to act n' "clean the blood" etc., get ready to be disapointed, as "NO WAY" may come to "SOME WAY". Just when the members of the SC come to an agreement. And susch an agreement, I'm afraid, will be based on profits (...and, just for the eyes, on moral reasons)
