Y2K, what did you do? Did you party like it was 1999 ,sorry couldn't resist, or did you stockpile stuff like crazy?

I did nothing. Well almost nothing - I backed up the computer at work onto CD and made another copy, gave one to my boss to take home and left the other one in the office.

I know a few people who did similar things, just backing their computers up, I don't actually know anyone who stocked up on food and stuff or anything.

Van Damme did. But that blokes an idiot.

I was asleep by 10-ish that night, I believe.

I spent the night at a friends house

Drank like a bastard and lit fireworks.

Ron and I had some take out chinese food and watched a South Park marathon. Damon was only 7 months old then, so I had stockpiled on baby food and formula just in case.

I was at work

Man I can't remember what I was doing when Y2K happened. I must have had fun then.

I was at a relative's friend's house.

The only thing my mom did was get a print-out of her bank account. Just in case.

I didn;t do anything. I don't think my parents did either.

We watched Dick Clark, drank too much and then watched CNN to see if anything bad happened.

Did anything bad actually happen anywhere. I don't remember anything bad happening.

The only thing I can remember happening in Australia is that about two weeks before Y2K someone got a letter from their bank saying that their account payment was due on the 5th January 1900, instead of 5th January 2000 and the bank had to review all it's computers and stuff.
