I figured that you couldn't be that famous in order to try out for Last Comic Standing.

But, two of the last 20 people are Jim Norton and Kathleen Madigan, both of whom I've seen before on Comedy Central. Jim Norton has been on 'Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn' (and Colin was also a judge). Kathleen Madigan was featured on a stand-up show. So what's the deal? I thought it was supposed to be amateurs.

I've seen Jim Norton and Kathleen Madigan before, too. I have also seem Tom/Todd Glass. I don't care for them either. I have also seen the guy that used to be a cop, in a small town in Maine. (can't remember his name) I did kinda like him though. Really, I thought this show was about finding undiscovered talent. I did seem strange to me that people who have already made it to Comedy Central, can compete in something like this.

I watched Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and Jay Mohr was the host.

I guess last season, if you appeared on any late night talk show (Leno, Letterman, Kilborn, O'Brien, etc.) then you could not be on the show. This year they dropped that rule, so that's why we recognize a lot of these comics.
