Newlywed Jennifer Lopez is poised to unleash the acting talents of new husband Marc Anthony on Hollywood -- by casting him in the lead role of her production company's new film.
The stunning star -- who wed the Latino crooner in a secret ceremony last Saturday -- has bought the rights to a movie about Puerto Rican jazz superstar Hector Lavoe.
But J.Lo has opted against acting opposite Anthony in the biopic, following the disastrous reaction to her performance opposite ex-fiance Ben Affleck in the critically panned "Gigli."
A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "She was going to play Hector's wife but she decided her talents would be equally useful behind the camera.
"She's desperate to give Marc his big break and wants to be around him 24/7." | |
