Phineas Nigellus -least popular headmaster Hogwarts ever had. circa 1800s. Was a Slytherin. Dilys Derwent headmistress 1741-1768. Also was a healer at St. Mungos. Amando Dippet -headmaster c. 1940's Albus Dumbledore -headmaster from 1970 to present. Used to be the transfiguration teacher.
Evard-former celebrated headmaster. Dates and first name unknown. Fortescue -former headmaster, dates unknown.
Dippet was probably headmaster right before Dumbledore because he was teaching Transfiguration while Dippet was head Also, fortescue must have been head recently because he (she) has an ice cream shop
I think Fortescue might be the father of the ice cream shop Fortescue.
And let us not forget Godric Gryffindor himself. ...I assume he was the first headmaster..
Excellent point
That's an interesting thought, but can anyone think of something that'd lead us to believe this?
I thought that I read somewhere... though, I can't point my finger at where, that there was a conversatioin, involving Dumbledore, in one of the books, talking about headmasters... and a comment about Godric!
