| Definately. I think much less of Saddam as a military commander, with his total failure to mount an efffective resistance, dispite considerable resources. I call into question the general attitude of the US defence forces, as they have a considerably high number of accidents involving friendly fire, or fire on civilians. More so than I think could be put down to pressure in the field. I have also been pleasently surprised at just how vocal the support of the US troops has been from the Iraqi population. I expected support, but a bit more subdued until a later stage of the campaign. | |
