| J.LO TO FACE LAWSUIT FROM RUSSIANS?
Superstar Jennifer Lopez could face a lawsuit over her no-show at the Moscow opening of her first ever J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez store.
Unbeknownst to the Russian owners of the store, the sexy singer/actress failed to attend the boutique's opening last week because she was preparing for her secret L.A. weekend wedding to third husband Marc Anthony.
Since launching her fashion label in 2002, the J.Lo range is available in department stores across the globe, but the shop in the Russian capital is her first solo store.
A source tells Page Six, "She was supposed to be in Moscow opening up her J.Lo clothing store.
"She obviously didn't make it and the Russian businessman who bought the license to J.Lo is furious. Contracts were signed and she was supposed to be there. He is considering suing."
However, Lopez's manager Simon Fields insists J.Lo was too busy filming "Monster in Law" to endure the 12-hour flight to Moscow.
Fields explains, "She is in the middle of making a movie -- there is no way she was going." | |
