Seems so tha the USA going to set new suitable administration to Iraq. But suitable to whom ?

One of the probable leaders Ahmed al Chalabi has been sentenced in 22 years with hard labour for bank fraud in Jordania.

I cant imagine that people in USA could accept one of mainroles in administration for example somebody of old Enron leaders.

well considering the fact that it was the US who brought saddam to power, that wouldn't be a surprise

There are "several" probable leaders...to focus only on one man I believe is wrong.

Every politician...that is right....EVERY POLITICIAN is crooked. There is not one politician in this world that is a saint. Every politician has a skeletons in their closets...as with every single person of this world.

Whatever choice is made for an interim governing order...someone will find the dirty laundry or skeletons. You can't make or keep everyone happy.

Currently there is a battle brewing in Washington between the Defense department and the State department over this. Chalabi is a defense department man by reports, while the State Department wants to get someone out of the local communities of Iraq.

I hope for the latter, however who knows if there is anyone left in Iraq qualified for the position, or if they are qualified were they tied to Sadam too closely?

So, as far as it stands now, the State department has a very difficult task ahead that will take some time. I would say at least 6 months.
