I think that the man who played Lupin was wonderful. Daniel really stepped up his acting a notch in this film too.

Yeah, the kids are getting better, which is good. I guess they're just more comfortable in their roles now.

Robbie Coltrane was good, as usual.

I know I shouldn't complain about it because it was an otherwise well-shot scene, but the part in Hogsmeade when we hear him crying underneath the cloak and then have it pulled back to find him with dry eyes bugs me a little bit. Even if he can't cry on cue, why do a close-up like that without having someone wet his eyes or something first?

I loved the movie but I have a confession to make: I laughed at that scene. Actually, just the part where Harry was supposed to be crying. I know this is terrible, but I found it funny.

Otherwise, Daniel Radcliffe's acting was alot better in this movie. Maybe it's just me, but he looked more like Harry in this movie. For once, his hair was untidy. In all the other movies, his hair has been neat, and that's always annoyed me.

Snape was great, as usual. So were Ron and Hermione. And Emma Thompson (Professpr Trelawny) was also very good.

I always think Emma is fantastic. Dan and rupert are also great. Emma Thompson as Professor Trewlanny was hysterical. Michael Gambon did a pretty good job as Dumbldore.

I really liked all of the acting. The kids are getting much better. (Combination of age and experience, or a better director) The crying scene was bad, but what can you expect out of a 14 year old boy? Snape is awesome, and the guy who played Lupin nailed the role.

I think that the crying scene was lame. It was awkward. I don't think it was very Harry like either. I can see him tearing up, not sobbing.

I think that Daniel is getting better... but that crying scene was awful.
When the invisibility cloak was removed, he didn't even LOOK like he had been in tears.
They could have made that one more real.

I think that Rupert Grint (Ron) did such a good job. I think that he's going to be a great actor.

I think the three kids have a chemistry.

They do have a great chemistry. I was sorry that Draco was only in a few scenes. It is not the same without Harry and Draco glaring at eachother.

I really hope that all three of them stay to finish the series. However, Rupert Grint may grow out of the role.

I think they are all starting to grow out of their roles. I think Harry and Hermione are ok, but Ron is getting bigger by the minute.

Just look at Neville, he looks completely different than the small, cute, confused way he looked before. But they have all done extremely well in their respective roles.

My favorite is Snape. Alan Rickman (i think that's how you spell it), is perfectly casted in this role. I had thought so since the first movie came out.

Well, while Ron is maturing... he does grow up, and get tall in the books. So, that wouldn't be too bad. But, I have a feeling that he's going to look 2 or 3 years too old in this next flick.

Yeah, Ron is always described as being really tall.

Oh, I hope not! Rupert Grint is probably my favorite of the three.

I would have to agree. Rupert has done a fine job as Ron.

Plus Ron's character is not an easy one to fill. Out of the 3, Ron's character probably goes through the biggest emotional rollercoaster. Having to deal with being poor, living up to the expectations of his brothers, jeolousy, and feelings for Hermione.

I have to give a lot of credit to Rupert. Isn't this his first major movie role?

Rupert Grint and Alan Rickman are probably my favorites, the most perfectly cast. Dan too, but that's just a given.

I LOVED Emma Thompson as Treelawney. She was perfect.
I liked Lupin's character, but he didn't look the way I aways pictured Lupin. Which, I know I can't expect him to look just like I pictured him, but I dunno.
I still love McGonnagal too.

Ron is my favorite character other than Harry. I am impressed with the fact that this is indeed his first major film role, and Ron is a complex character. He is able to pull it off.

Rupert is a wonderful actor. He does wonderful faces. He really brought a lot of character to Ron.

And he and Emma have a lot of chemistry. Good for potential romance!

Very true, Heather.... and we're all waiting for that to happen. It's already sprouting, so it's only a matter of time.

It's sprouting a little faster in the movies than it is in the books.

True... but that's okay. Hell, they are only fifteen years old in the last book. They don't NEED love at this point.
