| CHUCK D BLASTS BLING-BLING-OBSESSED STARS
Public Enemy founder Chuck D has blasted today's high-rolling black superstars because they're getting too rich and too lazy.
The rap pioneer admits he's sickened by basketball and hip-hop stars who spend their money on jewelry and expensive car fleets.
He says, "I never would have thought 25 years ago that today people in entertainment would actually adapt the ideology and the philosophies of the slave master.
"Why does special treatment go along with the delivery of art and culture or basketball? Why does the 6 foot 8 inches monster need a car service to go three blocks? Walk your [bleep] those three blocks.
"(They say) 'I'm afraid I could be stopped. I could be robbed.' Well, take that $300,000 platinum chain off your neck, take the diamond out of your ear and walk, [bleep]." | |
