| I'm a bit undecided about which out of the two latter movies I prefer but I think the first film is probably my least favourite. At times it felt as if the whole thing had been thrown together just to get it released as quickly as possible. If Warner Bros. had given the project a little more pre-production time, a more talented director could have been hired, and special effects scenes could have been better planned. There were moments where I thought that more sophisticated visuals had been seen in Star Wars over 20 years ago. Fortunately, it seems that the production of PS/SS was a huge learning curve, as you can't deny that the camera-work and use of CGI are vastly improved upon in CS. | |
