Madonna to Launch Childrens Clothing Line

MADONNA is whipping up controversy again – by launching a collection of sexy clothes aimed at girls as young as two.

She flew to Los Angeles last week with husband GUY RITCHIE to view the finished range which includes miniskirts and see-through tops.

Some of the clothes have been reproduced from illustrations in her children’s book English Roses and are quite traditional. But other items are a little near the knuckle.

Tops in the Sweet Heart range use see-through chiffon – even though toddlers could wear them. One collection called Faux Leather includes a biker jacket and ra-ra skirt bearing the slogan “Love”.

The clothes are aimed at girls aged between two and 16.

A source said: “Madonna was inspired by her daughter LOURDES.

“Although she’s only six, Madonna lets her wear short skirts and make-up.”

Madonna has employed an adult theme for her new range of children's clothes, after being inspired by her 6-year-old daughter Lourdes' fashion choices.

She was in Los Angeles with husband Guy Ritchie last week to view her latest stock, which includes mini-skirts and transparent tops.

While the garments based on her kids' book "English Roses" have a traditional look, other designs aimed at girls aged between 2 and 16 feature see-through chiffon and tops bearing the slogan "Love."

A source tells Britain's the Sun newspaper, "Madonna was inspired by her daughter Lourdes. Although she's only 6, Madonna lets her wear short skirts and make-up."
