Fox affiliate station pulls Married.. |
| Posted by: Sean Kelly | | I tend to agree with their decision. This series and those like it don't celebrate the sanctimony of marriage, but rather treat it as a commodity that not only has little value now, it can be passed out in the form of a gift card.

| On Monday, the Fox network affiliate pre-empted "Married by America" after one airing, writing in a statement that the show "did not reflect prevailing standards of good taste" and was "clearly demeaning to the institution of marriage." Viewers who tuned in to watch "Married by America" instead got episodes of the sitcom "Cheers." Source |

ie That 70's Show, They shouldn't leave us in the lurch, wondering if any one of the losers made it to the Alter.

If you were really worried about that - you would watch many a segment of Fear Factor. | | Reply To this Message

One in three First marriages end within 10 years, and second marriages are even worse. (Source: http://www.skfriends.com/do-43-perc...ges-divorce.htm)
Sounds to me like the sanctity of marriage is already corrupt, so what's the big deal with Married By America?
