Diana's CD single

American Idol: Season 3 Forum

Hey you all. I just watched Regis and Kelly and any Diana fans be happy...she has a single coming out soon. That song, Dreamer...they showed the cover of it on the show. I hope it has that song, DON'T CRY OUT LOUD, on there because I liked when she sung that song.

She's moving faster than fantasia

yea she is movin faster then fantasia...when fantasia was on Regis & Kelly yesturday, she said nothing about her single...so I guess Diana is going to be out there first.....

I'm so proud of Diana, because if you noticed, when they did interviews it seemed like Diana was always with her, or at least when fantasia had just won. I really am proud of diana for not letting herself get pushed to the back of everyone's minds and making sure that she has the spotlight also. I definately think that she has a chance to pull a Clay Aiken on the world!

Diana is so good in interviews and she is very nice to Fantasia...just like Clay was last year when he lost to Ruben. I think that she could pull a fast one, and totally do a "Clay Aiken" (that's what we're calling it here in GA)....

haha I like it yeah many sleepless nights were spent trying to keep up with Clay right after american idol! Diana will be very succesful and she is signing with RCA CLAY's LABEL!

I like Diana, but I dunno if she could "pull a Clay Aiken" if that's what we're calling it. I think she is very talented, but it also depends on how well Fantasia does.

Paleez!!! Fantasia only knows one word and that is Yeah and she sings it before, in between and after every phrase of every song as in yeah yeah yeah yeah! Diana has every right to put out a CD whenever she chooses. It's not her fault that Fantasia for whatever reason (maybe because she is busy taking care of her 3 year old) that she cannot get her CD out first! We really get to vote with our money not our telephones when we go to the music store to buy Diana's CD and leave Fantasia's on the shelf beside Reuben's. It's not our fault that he was not as good as Clay either! Oh well. The show is over and now the real story begins. Some people may like the way Fantasia sounds and if it was just the title good singer she may could get away with it but I personally don't think the term American Idol should be bestowed upon a 19 year old unwed mother. What does that say to todays teenagers??

I don't think that Diana or Clay should have to hold back making CDs just because they didn't win. Clay was better then Ruben, as we all learned when his CD and single did much better then Ruben's....I mean even Justin put out a CD when Kelly did....

I feel that if they can sell a CD, let them sell it no matter what place they came in. I mean come on...just because Fantasia won doesn't mean that she was the favorite to everyone....but all I know is that I can't wait for Diana's Cd...I'm going to be the first to buy it...

I don't fully know if Diana can "pull a Clay".....but I think she will do very well because a lot of teens look up to her...and others like her voice....

The arguement that Diana should not be allowed to put out a CD until after Fantasia does is very weak. If Fantasia is such a true talent, then Diana will not hurt her one bit. The Idol should be able to stand up to honest competition. Ruben did not outsell Clay because not as many people wanted his album.

More people liked Clay over Ruben and that's why he out sold him. If more people like Diana then she too, will out sell Fantasia. It is a weak fight to say that they shouldn't be able to make a CD because they didn't come in 1st...because what if your favorite didn't win..then you would never hear from them again. I mean not everyone likes who won.....so the runner-up should be able to make a CD....

I don't think that it should matter when a cd comes out because I think it depends on your FANS! If you put out your cd first or last it all depends on your fans still

Yeah... if the person WON American Idol, then it seems they would do better on their CD sales, considering they got more votes on the show. I guess the record people had that in mind when they released Clay and Ruben's singles at the same time. They most likely thought Ruben would sell more... why wouldn't they think that? Everything is competition, products of all kinds compete for which one will sell more. Cd's are like that too.
