Did Evan's pic for Zora really surprise you?

I have to pat myself on the back and say I called it. It was particularly obvious when they left it between Zora and Alison.

It would have been a more suspenseful decision had it been between Zora and MoJo - whom he admitted he had a very so-so date with (damn hat).

To me it looked like Allison and he had a better time than Zora once that bug up Allison's butt finally died. I had thought that perhaps that we redeeming enough versus her opening declaration that she didn't think she should be there.. I honestly thought there was a chance he might give it to her over Zora since Zora seemed like such the miserable type - who wants to be around that!?

Then again:
1) Maybe he invites misery and "challenges" into his life where he feels like he can play hero and rescue this person

2) If Allison really wanted to redeem herself fully she should have clarified that with him by the end of their date and begged forgiveness for her initial outburst. She pulled a stupid, and now she's gone, BYE BYE - he sure paid her a nice compliment about being the first girl he ended up seeing out the door!
