American Idol: Season 3 Forum

here are our 3 idols....

Kelly Clarkson (AI1)

Ruben (AI2)

and

Fantasia (AI3)

Do you agree or disagree with these 3 idols???

I only agree with Kelly. But, I'm glad that Clay didn't win in AI2. It gave him more artistical freedom. The same for Diana in AI3. I think that it would have also been better on Fantasia to have NOT won, because then she could have worked directly with Missy Elliott, and I think that she would have done a great job with her.

I agree with Kelly because she was the best...

I disagreed when Clay lost....but I am happy to see at how well he is doing now....

season 3...The guys I liked...John Stevens, JPL were my favorites, so in the end...I pulled for Diana but I really wasn't into it....

Season 1, I agreed that Kelly was the Idol

Season 2, should have been Clay, but it was much better for him that he came in second.

Season 3, I do not like Fantasia, but I can respect the fact that she won.

Man does everyone agree with me about Kelly...

How could we NOT agree with Kelly being the idol of AI1? She dominated the entire competition.
The girl has a great set of pipes, she can hold a note for a very long time, and she's a good performer.

There were a lot of Tamayra fans. I am surprised no one has said it should have been her. I love Kelly and she did dominate.

one thing I like about Kelly is when she is singing them notes...that most people have to push to hold...she never looks like she is...forcing herself to hold them....they look like they just come to her and she just sings them...I think Kelly is one of, if not the best, singers to come out of Idol

Kelly was my choice, and the guy who won A2 was just OK. Now A3 I really thought that Diane was a better choice, her vocal range is so much higher than Fantasia! BUT out of all the contestants Diane and Fantasia were the best choice.

really...Diana and Fantasia the best out of every season....I disagree with that...I thought Kelly was the best....I thought she kinda upstaged Diana and Fantasia when they were all singing together that night on the final...

I AM GETTIN TIRED OF COMIN TO THIS SITE AND YALL ALWAYS DOWNING FANTASIA I MEAN THE GIRL WON, DIANA TRIED AND JUST WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH, BETTER LUCK FOR THE POOR LIL GIRL NEXT TIME. and that's why fantasia won by 1.3 MILLION votes any ways.

1st)well Tamyra and Kelly can both really sing. But Kelly won and thats good, but Tamyra's CD came out MAY 25 and it is selling vey well even though she didn't win.
2nd) Clay should have won because Ruben can't sing to me, he strains, he's too much of a teddybear.
3rd)Fantasia definately should have won and that's why she did. Diana was good but this time they were looking for something different and they found it, no one wants a another young boring singer, we want different singers that bring something new to the floor, and that's what Fantasia does. Diana is only 16 years ols anyways. But sh can sing, just let her finish school first. I am 16 and i know i couldn't balence school and a career at the same time. But i am glad that FANTASIA won and diana lost. i mean SOMEONE HAD TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

I never said that Fantasia wasn't a good singer....or tried to take the title away from her....Fantasia won far and square....Diana is good and is coming out with a CD...and I think both of them will do well in the music world....

I was just saying that out of the winners...I thought Kelly has had the best voice so far...She is a powerhouse....I will stand by that statement because that is what I think and feel...and you may not agree and I respect that....

I agree that Clay should have won but it is better that he didn't because now he can step out of the whole American Idol thing and do things on his own.....

Randy said on Ryan that he was planning on signing Diana and when she was on Regis and Kelly...they showed her single that comes out June 29th.....

I think I agree with mostly everyone else here that Kelly should have won American Idol season 1, and Clay should have won in its second season, however, things have worked out so wonderfully for him that it doesnt matter what place he came in, he is seen as the winner to most.

American Idol 3 is very different to me. I really didn't like anyone this year. Fantasia and La Toya are excellent singers, but I don't liek their voices, yet I can see how many people would. I think Diana is great, too, and I like her much more than Fantasia, yet I understand why Fantasia won, because she is a wonderful singer.

I agree 110% that Kelly should of won because she was the best.

Last season, after they said Ruben's name...I was mad, angry and upset....I felt that Clay had been robbed....but I am happy that things have worked out really well for both of them (more so for Clay)

This season....I didn't feel that Diana was robbed.....I hope she does well and Fantasia in the end, has a great voice...I just don't like.....

First season Kelly was the obvious winner
second season Clay was robbed but he came out on top even better than Kelly or Ruben
Third season I couldn't predict who would have one

Ok no need to freak out. I am from the homestate of Fantasia and Clay. I think that American Idol is about finding talent and Ruben has talent too but I still think Clay is better. That is just my personal opinion and everyone has there own opinion. You are making it sound like it is all racist and it is not. American votes America decides Kelly, Ruben and Fantasia are our idols but not everone in america voted for these three. So don't have a heart attack!

It's funny....here's a funny story. When AI1, came out...I loved RJ helton's voice....and he was cute...I knew though when Kelly was singing that it was her's...it was in the bag. When RJ left...I was like I am going for Justin...and I even brought his CD but I don't think he was better then Kelly...maybe better then some people out there...I'll say that

I think Diana should of won.....I liked JPL and John Stevens but I really didn't think they would WIN...

Kelly had an awesome voice but Justin...I think he was more of a "LOOKER" then a singer...just what I think....

Diana and Fantasia should of been in the top 2, I guess as time went on...I believe Diana should of been in the top 2, all along... I think she was the best girl on season 3

I think all those idols who had won all deserved their win. They won it fair and square. Fantasia's style may not be my favorite, but she deserved it. And you don't necessarily ahve to win in order to be successful. Diana, John Stevens, all those other people will be sucessful also.

SURE THEY WILL BE SUCCESSFUL BUT FANTASIA IS SUCCEEDING IN THE INDUSTRY ALREADY!!!

Diana's single has not hit the charts yet...but she will do well when it does....

I do like how Fantasia sings 'I believe'...when she sung it after she won...it was moving....but I'm not buying her single or Cd..sorry......but I do look forward to seeing her live, singing it!!!!

yea....I think she is doing the fireworks in NEW YORK on July 4th...I don't know...I heard that somewhere....I'm watching the Clay's july 4th show because he is awesome....

I think Fantasia does sing I BELIEVE better then DIANA...but Dreams is so Diana's song.....

I only heard it once...but July 4th night, I didn't see her anywhere on TV...although my channel was mostly on Clay's channel...I did change it around and I didn't see her...anywhere....

I mean don't get me wrong, I like how Diana sings "I believe" on my cd but...when she is singing it...there is something missing..that for some reason Fantasia has. I think it is because Fantasia has been through more and had a harder time at making her dreams coming true.....just like when Kelly Clarkson sung, "A Moment Like This", it's like...moving kinda....I don't know, just me going on and on....

Season 1: I agreed with America's choice
Season 2: I didn't agree with America's choice (Clay or Josh shoulda won imo) Season 3 I didn't agree with America's choice (La Toya or Diana shoulda won imo)

I wanted it to come down to Diana vs. latoya, that would of been a good showdown...then season 2, yea Clay should of won but hey he's doing just fine for himself....
