Iv'e seen this site before but only have just registered now. I'm in forums all over the net, just like most of you are I'm sure. I am indeed an Avril fan. So hi to all fans.


There is a question though I'm sure we need to ask.


Why do anti-avril fans feel so passionately?


They must be repressing something. It has to be. They must totally love her from the inside.

Has any other artist created so much turbulance like this?

Avril will die in hell and in hell she will be killed again and again

the thing that is wrong with the anti's is that they will not allow the fans atleast one friggin thread that we can have anti free.. they come and chat bullsh*t.. I respect that not everyone likes Avril, but the anti's just come to our threads and start arguments and chat sh*t... thats wats wrong,,,

Well, some people obviously hate her for her fame, but many of us have a real good reason.


In my case, me and my friends have been great fans of bands like The Sex Pistols, The Clash and other Punk bands.

But, Punk is dead.

So, a former cheerleader (yes you read it right, Avril used to be one of those preps she hates so much. she was never a 'true wild child' ) gets herself a contract, dresses up in clothes from Hot Topic, sings a song and claims to be punk. And now, everyone automatically assumes she is.


But clearly, her music is Pop. Well, Pop Rock if you insist, but not Punk Rock whatsoever.

Now, everywhere I see little girls with ties, arguing about 'who is more punk'. That annoys me.

I don't hate Avril's music, it IS rather catchy.

I do NOT think she's ugly, like some haters say. I only give valuable arguments.

And I am NOT jealous of her fame. You don't see me dissing Metallica, do you? No.


The only kind of fans I hate, are the ones that are very stubborn and keep insisting she's Punk, even though they have enough evidence to know better. If you like her music, it's just a matter of taste. But I'd like to shoot her.

You are claiming to be Avril's sister. So far all the evidence you have happens to be availiable over the net, so not really evidence enough (however I am impressed with your fluid knowledge).

Its not that I don't believe you, Its just it would be cooler. But I can understand why yopu're not being allowed to show pictures, there are some weirdo's out there. To be honest I am taking your word for it

First u say that u don't hate her music (which in my opinion u like her music a bit) and then u say that u wanna shoot her????and u also say that ppl dress like her....who cares....obviously they have no personality or style of their own and are feeding off of someone elses.I mean..I have a couple of friends who have the nerve to copy me!!!!!!!It is very annoying but...that's my problem..not anybodies who sees them...is it?The point im trying to make is that it's avril's problem if they dress like her...she has copy cats...so y should u care???

I love her music but know nothing about her, and I hate the people who don't let others voice their opinion. That means fans and haters!
