Pop Singer 'Cherie' to Tour With Clay in July


According to her web site, 19-year old singer Cherie will be touring with Clay during the month of July. Her first single, "I'm Ready" is currently #36 on the Radio & Records CHR/Pop Chart, and was featured in the Disney film "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." Her self-titled debut album is due out in July, and The New York News describes her as "...Celine Dion crossed with Jessica Simpson...She's the Female Clay Aiken." ugh..... I was so happy to hear that he wasnt touring with kelly this summer, cuz it's not that i DONT like kelly, its just that i don't actually like her either. I hope this Cherie girl is only opening.

yeah me too I do't want her to be taking time away from Clay or if she does I might have to get her with one of my crutches!

On Friday night I went to my friend's house and we cleaned out her closet, and she gave me a purse that she has, which is pretty big... it could hole a TON of cameras! haha

I have a purse that goes on your back and I am going to stuff it with cameras

good!!

I need to take a lot of cameras... and I just realized today that I will also want to take a lot of pics of me and my friend, just like getting ready and freaking out and stuff... so i dunno how many I will need now.

lol my purse is big.. but not big enough for 50 cameras hahaha

mine might fit 25 if I cram them in there!! 25 for when I am freakin out and 25 for Clay

I was thinking about the weird expression I will make when Clay walks on stage, adn I'm not sure what it will be like, or if I will ever make that face again in my life. Clay Aiken freak out is unlike any other emotion out there! haha

there were..I was like...bored....we were sitting in our seats waiting for the moment Clay was coming out....

I know the excitement mounted

yea and he was first up the night I went and saw him....

Kelly was first on mine and I was about to jump everywhere when Clay came out when I went home I couldn't talk!

yea Clay was up first the night I went...and when he was leaving..he was just standing there and I think knew that we all wanted him more then Kelly....well....He was like "You know you guys love Kelly too." And then he left the stage after saying good bye and god bless.....then when he came out to do Open Arms...I was like "MY SONG...HE IS SINGING MY SONG..." (there was like a break in between each word when I said it to my mom) and they did good on it too....and I think that was the best part of the show....them doing my song....

I love that song but it makes you really sad to have to say good-bye to Clay because I know that I could sit there all night and listen to him talk! and Sing!

I know....that song is my favorite love song of like ever.....and I was happy to hear them do it so well.....

I would sit there all night and listen to him....but at the same time when I went people were booing Kelly and yelling that they wanted Clay back...and I thought that Kelly should have her time onstage...after all this was her tour 2....

awwww i love kelly too i just love clay more. i would be yelling go kelly!!!!

poor Kelly maybe thats why Clay is doing a solo tour so soon after his one with Kelly. I hope the Cherie girl is just opening and not actually being on tour with him... I hope he's on last so I can have him to look forward to.

I like Kelly...she's good...so I was cheering for her too...It was a good show besides that...but I just hope that Kelly was wearing them things in her ear to where she can't hear anything...because that would have hurt her feelings....

That better be all it is because I don't want her taking time away from OMC. I think that is all it is because there is now a press release titled "Aiken's Solo Tour"

It did kinda seem like that to me though, like she wasn't co-heading the tour with Clay or whatever, cuz it was actually like a Clay Aiken/Kelly Clarkson tour before... but this time its different

Yea I was alittle unhappy at my show when he was dancing with his back-up dancer like that...at my show him and Kelly didn't dance like I have seen in some pictures from their later shows

I think that Clay's made some mistakes in life and I fully support him not talking about his girlfriend lifestyle, but the bad thing is that everyone thinks that since he won't come out and say he's not a virgin, that he must be gay.

Justin supposedly got another record deal but with a label that is much smaller. I personally don't think he has got a chance!

yea Justin got in trouble with the law like a year ago and that was the last I heard of him. I don't think he has a chance. I don't like him anymore and.....personally I think the only way he had fame was when he was holding on to Kelly's but now I hear that she doesn't even want to talk to him now that he is in trouble with the law (that was a year ago or so...so it may have changed)

I never liked him, and I heard somewhere that he was marrying Nicole Ritchie just because he thought he would make sooo much money from his fam on American Idol that he would be good for life, but then that was kind of a bust, so he decided to marry Nicole, because she has a lot of money, and that's what he wanted in the first place.

i was at the website for the arena that my concert is at, and it actually says "opening act, cherie".... so that's good.

good at least she won't be performing, would you check and see if she is just the opening act at the indionapolis concert?

I think if she is the opening act at one show then she is the opening act at all the shows....

Yeah, just for that night. we're leaving the morning of the 8th and then it's a 5 hour drive, the concert is at 7:30, and then we're staying the night at a hotel. we are leaving the next day.
