With the Goblet Of Fire movie starting production, we have to wonder, for the Quiddich matches that will appear near the beginning of the movie - who will play the Quiddich players?

One thought I've recently come across somewhere in my mind, that scares the heck out of me, is that they may be getting some English Football (ie. Soccer) players (such as David Bekham) in to be these professional athletes.

The idea sounds obvious, which hopefully means it's totally wrong. I'm sure a lot of people may go to see the movie if they can catch a glimpse of their sport heros, but I just can't help but feel disgusted by the idea...

PS. This is not even a rumor, it's just something I've made up. NOBODY READ INTO IT TOO FAR!

Egads! Not Beckham! I think he would want too much money, and I think JKR is way to cool to let him in her movie.

That's what I'm hoping Hopefully, the world of Harry Potter is one of those places that can escape professional athletes that get too much attention as it is

Word has it that the Quidditch World Cup will be omitted completely and that the film will begin at Hogwarts in order squeeze the running time down to a commercially realistic length. Let's hope not!

NO! They can't do that. They would not have the deatheaters introductions or the Dark Mark then.

ok im sorry, but if LOTR can be so and so hours long, then so can HP. If they take out the quidditch match I WILL BE SOOO INSANELY PISSED. I dont even think I would care if they made the fourth book into two movies, just as long as they get in all the info.

Well, they don't need professional athletes. After all, the only extra player that really has any screen time is Krum, and they have already cast that role, from my understanding.

i cant wait to see krum i hope he's kinda hot too, i mean well ... semi good looking, like good looking enough for people to kinda be able to see why hermione goes for him, but i also hope he looks really thick, but also kind hearted.

I think that he will be a fairly good looking chap.

I hope not much is cut out of the movie, but i really have no clue how they will make a movie of the whole thing... it would be so long.

Yes, one would think so. She does work with the director's, and I think that she's got some input... but, one just never knows.
