hey, i decided to respond to your plight in a new thread so that it will have more attention. maybe get someone in here that can help you or is experiencing the same thing.

is the chocolate addicts thread the only one giving you problems? are you going page by page to get to the newest posts? or are you clicking on "last page"?

are you using dial-up? under your 'my inreview', what is your 'default posts per thread' set to?

Thanks Larke No it's now doing it in a few other threads, I've had this problem before too, just not all the time....I am clicking on last page or the last unread posts. But I have tried going through all the pages to see if it would work that way...No go
Yes I am using dial-up...I dont know what you mean by "default posts per thread" I checked...didnt see anything like that, where exactly is it?

Are you thinking what I'm thinking. That the page is to large and by reducing the amount of posts per view may make it display it all.

Are you running any accelator software or any type of banner blocker? I know Norton Internet Security?

Also there may be a setting in IE, that is if you are using IE that limits the size of the page, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Well that sounds possible I'll have to try reducing the size of posts per page, maybe that will help. I'm not positive but I do believe I have Norton Interent Security, or something with Norton

Ron, that's exactly what i was thinking.

Ok here is the problem with Norton Internet Security and why I don't recommend it.

Norton Internet Securty is designed to strip out parts of webpages that it believes is ADVERTISEMENT like banners and believe it or not JAVA and JavaScript. This is a big problem for website designers because NIS will strip out JavaScript Menus and other JavaScript items. And it may even be what's preventing you from seeing all of a website.

Now this doesn't mean that you should completely trash Norton Internet Security. It's good to have a firewall (although dial up users don't really need a firewall) and it's good to have an anti-virus. But the banner blocker is a problem, I can't say for sure that it is your problem but it's one thing that you can turn off then try those pages. And if I was on dialup I think I would reduce the page to 5 or 6 posts.

Alright guys, it's been awhile. But I reduced the size of posts per page, and it seems to have fixed the problem. It hasn't happened since. Thanks for the advice
