| EMINEM GIVEN GO AHEAD TO SUE APPLE
Superstar rapper Eminem has been given the go-ahead to sue computer company Apple for using his song "Lose Yourself" in a TV commercial.
District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor decreed Monday that Eminem's publishing company can proceed in their action against Apple Computer Inc., as well as MTV parent firm Viacom and advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day.
Apple ran an advertisement last year for their iPod music player and iTunes service featuring a boy singing "Lose Yourself," despite unsuccessfully securing Eminem's permission. | |
