Clues from the J.K. Rowling site? |
| Posted by: fuscia | | Did anyone else pick up on some clues in the J.K. Rowling site? There are gum wrappers all over the place. Also, there is a butterfly. Could that be another animagus? The coffee cup has a cresent moon in it. There is a spider crawling across the screen too-follow the spiders.
So there must be something with Mrs. Longbottom giving the wrappers to Neville.
In her character notes, she states that Mrs. Weasley's maiden name is Prewett. So, Molly has lost family to Voldemort. The Twin's and Ginny's birthday is April 1st.
Did anyone else notice any clues? Comments? | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | I just don't know. It makes me think of Lupin, but he can not be the only werewolf. What about the guy in St. Mungo's who had recently been bitten? Lupin was talking to him. Perhaps the werewolves will join the fight. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | This is not a clue but a quote about book 6 I found on the net.
Thank you very much for your letters. I am currently working hard on the sixth Harry Potter book and enjoying the writing more than ever; Hopefully this means that it will be enjoyable to read! I am however increasingly conscious that I am nearing the end of the series. The last two books seem almost like two halves of the same novel, because so much that happens in six is related to what happens at the very end of the story. Thank you again for writing. It means the world to me that Harry's fans take the time and trouble to let me know how much they like him.
With love from,

JK Rowling was praised for making reading "cool" as she received the doctor honoris causa-one of Edinburgh University's highest accolades. She said she is honored to get the diploma, but was tightlipped when asked if Harry graduates in Book 7.
"The book is going really well. And if I answer that it would give quite a lot away, so I'm not going to, sorry." | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: gaboman | | They should have taken her honoris causa back and said "ok... Hmm... maybe we'll just not give you this then..." then skip away whistling, hoping she calls them back and tells what's going to happen | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Let me put it this way, would you kill off Harry with all the nutters out there? I think not. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Heatherhobbit | | She really would have to go into the Witness Protection Program if she killed Harry Potter. She made a joke about going into hiding on her website when she revealed Mark Evans was a nobody. She knows her fans are nutters. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: adityamahesh | | I just had a thought right now... what if Harry ceases to live in physical form but sticks around in an ethereal form at the end of book 7? Not as a ghost, but something else?

| Posted by: Heatherhobbit | | I used to think that Rowling might pull a Frodo type move, but then decided that wouldnt be very original. | | Reply To this Message

Yeah, what if Harry loses his head instead of a finger?

| Posted by: hp4ever | | And anyways, the only person to kill off The Dark Lord, is Harry Potter the boy who lived and escaped him not once but 2 (wit his body back) 3 (without his body, working through servants). What author in their right mind would kill off the whole world. And who says Harry will have finished him off by book 7, PHP:
remember she said she MIGHT make an 8th book
to show what he does as an adult exc. JUST GET THE BOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
