| OSBOURNE WANTS TO BE MADONNA'S FRIEND
Kelly Osbourne is reportedly desperate to strike up a friendship with Madonna -- but the pop icon has yet to respond to her efforts.
Sources say Osbourne, daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, is trying to meet the Material Girl, 45, to thank her in person for letting her cover '80s classic "Papa Don't Preach" on her debut album Shut Up.
But US Weekly reports that the 19-year-old has often moaned to pals that Madonna has never acknowledged the many letters and flower bouquets she sent to show her gratitude.
A friend says, "Kelly was furious that Madonna did not make an effort to contact her back."
While pop beauty Britney Spears enjoys a close friendship with the superstar, the friend adds that Osbourne is upset that Madonna won't even say hello to her when they see each other at awards shows and other events.
