Time For Japan & Germany To Re-Arm |
| Posted by: fred hooper | | I think its time Japan & Germany re-armed and entered the future efforts of the coalition on the battlefronts. It might sound controversial as both sides have mechanisms in place to stop involvement in wars due to the past but their time has come to enter the fray on side of the US led Allies.
Who could stop such a poweful coalition. The three greatest fighting forces the world has ever seen on the front lines together fighting for worldwide peace and freedom. Don't anyone doubt it.......the coalition is growing as shown in new central and Eastern European partners. Unstoppable and no dictator or terrorist will have anywhere to run.

So now you're saying that if you resent something, you must therefore resent everyone who differs in opinion to you simply by association? What kind of narrow minded crap is that?

well i did vote for this government and will stand by it..i cant imagine what it would be like if gore was president right now. he would have sat back like a little coward after 9-11..maybe we wouldnt be at war right now,but we would have suffered later on when suddam would have pulled off some kind of terrorist attack..maybe not against the u.s. but it would have been agaist some other country. and alot more innocent civilians would have been killed without a warning..bush is doing the right thing!

Before you can join the US Army or any US military branch, you should be either a US Citizen or a green card holder already if you are in United States... If you are not in the United States yet and you are not a US Citizen or green card holder, and you want to be in a US military servicemember, you can apply for a working visa first, but your chance of getting a working visa is 1 in 500... That's why when you go to any US Embassies in the world, the lines of people applying for US visas are very long all the time... If you will be joining the Germany or Japan's military services, I'm sure the requirement will be similar, either you are a citizen of that country or you already have a green card for that country... I know it because I was born and raised in a foreign country, and is now a Naturalized US Citizen which I am very happy and proud of... Just imagine how many people in other countries who wants to have a green card in the US or to be a US citizen... I am also a civilian employee with a professional position in the US Navy so I know what I'm talking about...

Well maybe that's the way you are, but I'm glad to say I'm not that petty. I can have a level headed logical debate without deteriorating to the use of ignorant slurrs, unlike you it would appear. Don't worry though, I'm not going to waste any more time on this conversation. It's not worth my time.

Another perfect probe that the minority who voted bush was in composed in a great number by american fascists.
You have killed 3 times more people in your last two wars than terrorists killed 9-11. Revange is not the way.

I think it's a very valid point.
I think it's time for almost everyone who thought they would be safe as long as they didn't meddle with Uncle Sam to re arm. This war is bringing the truth to bear: "If you do not have Weapons of Mass Destruction to use against USA, they will find an excuse to ram their ideology down your throat. If you have natural resuorces, you better have WMD to defend them. If you are in a politically strategic area...you better have WMD to keep USA from converting you into an air base. And if you are not a Republic, you better have WMD to keep USA from turning you into one by force"

I think the Amrican Dream is an outdated concept. America is fading fast as THE place to live in...people favour Canada much more these days. With the US economy going down the drain, soon the only attraction left for people in USA would be easy access to drugs and pornography...
I know friends who were Americans but are now living in Italy...it's tough enough dealing with crime and recession...but people draw the line at freedom and civil rights...such as the choice to not wage a war on other countries.

Ok you are the most powerfull country of the world in means of military power. But certainly USA is not the best place to live. Where should I start. Crime-Economic Decay-Human Rights Violations(Against Minorities)-Goverment corruption. So why somebody should be jealous of USA? Why dont you go to live in China. It is becoming as powerfull as USA and in 20-30 years it will even be more than USA?
I am glad that some of you guys live where you are and not next to my house.

Because they want a better live, where it is. It doesn't matter it is US or germany.
But you have to recognice us has lost a lot of its attractivness in areas concerning freedom, security, life standards for poors, social security, integration, morality, integrity, etc....

Have you gone to your country's US Embassy to stop your people in applying for US visas? If you haven't, do it now so your heart will be fulfilled and give the US Consuls a break...
Also, if you think that the US already lost its attractiveness, why do you think that ALL US EMBASSIES in the world still has very long lines of US visa applicants? And once their US visa application were denied, they feel bitter towards the US but they wouldn't admit it...

| Posted by: wonkyconcrete | | US visa's may be in demand, but so is pornography on the net, doesnt mean porography is the best place to be, and it doesnt mean US is the best place to be, just means lots of people are interested. Maybe all those long embassy qeues are people wanting to go to the US for its Porn, drugs, guns and very high civilian to civilian murder rate. Vice attracts people. | | Reply To this Message

Before 20 years what you are saying was true. Everybody wanted to go to USA for MONEY. Have you ever met somebody with no economic problems saying that he wants to immigrate there because the place is better. I havent and I would be suprised to meet one. That was 20 years before. Now the only immigrants you have are from China and South America. ALL the other countries want to immigrate in EU because it has economic stability, respect on human rights and low crime crates. Furthermore where would you want to live in Paris - London -Madrid or in New York? I would prefer the three first....

Of course you would want to live in Paris, Lodon or Madrid than in New York because it would be so hard for you to get a US Visa to the US... Remember also, New York is not the only place in the United States.... Duh!!!

Tell me a single country that doesn't have a single pornography, drugs and guns... You should go and live there forever... Also, don't forget to go to your country's US embassy and bring the US visa applicants to your "non-existent dream place" so they would't apply for US visas anymore...

Having been born and raised in a poverty-stricken country, I feel very grateful to be here in the US now... Back home, you will always see people protesting against the US, almost everyday, but if you go to the US embassy, the line of US visa applicants is unbelievable... You would have to line up there all day just to be interviewed by the Consul, or worse, you have to go back the next day... And it's the same every single day...
You know what Rage, I am smiling right now with your comment to me, and I don't find it negative or offensive... | | Reply To this Message

Where are you from if i may ask (originaly)?
BTW, i'm not against the US, i'm not rich, and i definitly am not going to the embassy to get a visa, not because the US is bad (in fact, the place is beautiful), but after 9/11 the humilation that i faced was just unbearable.
We're in here to present our views, what's this attitude of "my view is XYZ and if you don't agree with me then you hate the US and take your comments somewhere else". Isn't this essentialy what you're doing?

First of all you judge me without even knowing me. I consider some places in the world the worst places to live.USA,Iran,China,Venezuela,Colombia and few other. I dont hate this places. I base my assumptions taking account the crime level, the economy and human right respect. You say you like the place you immigrated. You mention in your message what was the reason you left. Povetry. I might have done also the same if I was living in a poor place. But please dont tell me that you would leave your country if it was not poor. Would you?
Last. Why do you people always take as granted that everybody wants to come in USA. . You say that I wouldnt get a US VISA. I am already citizen of a rich and powerfull nation (E.U). Why should I go in USA? Give me a reason?

It's about time that every country in the world was allowed to have nuclear weapons in order to gurantee mutually assured destriction if those maniacal terrorists, the US, tried to invade them. Mutually Assured Destruction, which seemed to work between the Russians and the US during the Cold War. Let us all fight US imperialism.
