I want this thread to stay in general. This Sunday is mothers day. Do you have any plans? How will you celebrate this day?

Dance for nickels to get extra cash for mom's present. Either that or use a credit card.

We'll probably go out to dinner with the fam, as per usual. Nothing too exciting.

How about something from your kids. They can say thanks for all they ( the Grandma's ) did to make sure that THEY ( your kids ) have the BEST Mommy and Daddy.

AWWW, that is a great idea. Maybe I will take some pictures of them and make refridgerator magnets for the grandma's.

Heidi and I are going to a mother/daughter luncheon with my mom, tomorrow, at church. Then, on Sunday, we're going with the family, and taking the mom's to Outback Steakhouse. Got my mom a really nice framed picture for above one of her fireplaces.

That's a nice idea and/or
something they can see/display.
Maybe too late, but a pillow with a picture ?

Maybe for next occasion, a Grandma's Sun Catcher ... Stained glass in the colors of yours, Ron's and your children's birthstones ?

I think the grandma's are getting sick of stained glass. Our colors are red, green, blue and white. Almost a flag there.

Sorry ... I should have known the Grandmas would have plenty of stained glass.

Sometimes the smallest things are what please most, you know ?

Yeah... but her best friend doesn't have but one piece of finely crafted stained glass!

I am such a procrastinator.... I'm sitting here procrastinating about procrastinating. It is terrible.... I know I should go out and get at least a card but I am just too darn lazy. On my way home from work I tried getting a card from CVS and they were closed. So now since they were closed I am never going to go there tomorrow because it isn’t in between point A and point B. The sad part is I shouldn’t be thinking of it as a chore and do it because I love my mom.

If anybody wants to donate to the chodder foundation… please send a self addressed envelope to 123 fake St. with a card inside, then we can just prey that hopefully I am not too lazy to go get the mail

Chodder, you could write your mom a letter telling her how much you love her and why. That would be the best present in the world.
