The reason 50 cent disses Ja is the same reason Ja disses DMX, Jay-Z disses 50 cent, Tupac dissed Biggie etc. etc. etc. It's called publicity. I feel so sorry for people who think that "gangsta rappers" are as hardcore as they portray themselves to be in their songs. It's entertainment. Not real. Kind of like people who think WWF wrestling is the real thing.

I feel so sorry for groupies who swing off the latest star's nutsack and say things like "50 cent is the next Tupac" after he's dropped one good album. These people also claim to be the biggest 50 cent fans. If you bothered to read anything you would see how stupid you sound. 50 cent said himself in a Rolling Stone interview that he didn't know where his career would be today if Jay-Z hadn't responded to a dis in one of his own songs:

He was greatful to Jay-Z for responding because it gave him some recognition and Jay-Z was already a big star. It is the same thing as a freestyle battle. Some people actually think that 50 cent runs around looking for Ja with an AK-47 and twin glocks, or that 'Pac was going to bust into Bad Boy records recording studios and ice everyone signed to their label. Please wake up and get a clue.

I am sure that half of you people who talk sh*t about Ja Rule used to listen to him before 50 cent became a star. There is nothing wrong with liking both of them. Just like there is nothing wrong with liking Biggie and Tupac.

That is exactly right ashleylove. It is good to hear someone actually present a valid arguement instead of the typical "I LUV 50 CENT HE IS SOO FINE!!" I mean, there is nothing wrong with that except for the fact that it does nothing to improve his talent credibility.

As for the Ja/50 cent beef I will say what I have always said. It is nothing more than publicity hype and helps both parties equally to sell more records. By 50 cent dissing Ja in "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'." it in turn helps Ja's career. Why? Because many people will buy Ja's next album just to see what kind of disses he will fire back at 50 with. It is just like the Tupac/Biggie beef. A lot of people who never bought a Tupac album went out and bought "All Eyez On Me" after they heard about "Hit 'Em Up" which was widely portrayed on the media as vulgar and offensive. In case you didn't know, that album went platinum 9 times.

The only problem is when I see people who call themselves "true Hip-Hop fans" buying into the hype and actually believing that these beefs are real and that 50 cent is walking around with an AK-47 looking to smoke Ja Rule or vica-verca. The fact is no one in the hip-hop industry is more "hardcore" than anyone else in the hip-hop industry. They are all out for the same dollar, and let's not forget that most of them are extremely wealthy. They are not living the lives portrayed in their songs and it is foolish to believe otherwise. REAL GANGSTERS DON'T GET RECORD DEALS.
