According to SongSwain's rules, which have proven to be extremely accurate, JS will be the next voted off.

Songswain's 8 Powerful Rules of the Game

Rule no. 1 – the historical trend rule – If you came out tops in any of the semi-final (including wildcard) rounds, add 2 marks.

Rule no. 2 – the unanimous rule – If all the judges loved you during one of your performances (either in a semi-final or final round), add 3 marks and if all the judges didn’t like you during one of the theme nights, minus 4 marks.

Rule no. 3 – the universal appeal rule – if you are non-black and Randy loves your voice or if you are black and Simon loves your voice, add 5 marks.

Rule no. 4 – the Simon influences viewers rule – If Simon commented that you gave more than a good performance during one of the theme nights, add 3 marks and if he hates your performance for at least two nights (semi-final/final rounds), minus 4 marks

Rule no. 5 – the love for the survivor rule – If the judges generally felt you have shown good improvement or at least two judges commented about a great comeback, add 2 marks

Rule no. 6 - The almost booted out rule – if you have been in the bottom 3, minus 2 marks or if you were in the wildcard round but did not get the most votes during that round, minus 1 mark. Minus 3 marks if both conditions apply.

Rule no. 7 – The sex appeal rule – if you have fans who are crazy about your looks, add 3 marks if you are a female or add 5 marks if you are a male.

Rule no. 8 – The hardcore fans rule – if you were criticized badly for at least two theme nights by Simon but still did not get into the bottom three, add 2 marks.



Tie-breaker: In the event of a tie, the person who had a higher position in the semi-final round wins. If they still tie, the one more praised for his/her singing wins.

okay, so, I obviously have a lot of time in my hands... But it's fun, innit?

I think JS should get +2 and don't remember George making a "comeback". What is really interesting is look what happens when I then take out ALL the "looks" points from my corrected numbers. (-3 from Diana and -3 from Jasmine and -5 from JS4 and JPL) It ranks like this:

I have a feeling a PPP is going next. TPTB will want to have John on their Final Five show. He's bringing in the ratings, he's the one generating all the talk in the media and you know that old saying: no press is bad press. I do have a feeling he'll be cut at 5 or 4, and that's fine with me, because I don't want him to have a long term contract with 19E. I want John to go out and make a nice album of jazz or vocal standards, not "Invisible Part 2: I'm so pale, I could sneak into your room and you'd never notice me, because I'd blend in with your walls."

Fantasia, on the other hand, would be stuck with 19Evil.
