Britney Set To Buy Northchapel Mansion
Britney Spears is set to splash out £2.5million on a country hideaway in England - and become a neighbor of Robbie Williams.
Pop princess Britney has fallen in love with Frith Hill House in Northchapel, West Sussex. The 10-bed mansion is three miles from the village of Kirdford, where superstar Robbie rents a pad.
A pal revealed: "She loves the idea of having a home in England and this place sounds perfect. She adores English accents which she calls 'so cute'."
The American singer, 23, started looking outside London after friend Madonna told of the joys living in Wiltshire.
Britney passed up the chance to buy the £3million former bachelor town pad of Madonna's hubby Guy Ritchie.
The friend added: "Frith Hill House is a 10-minute drive from where Robbie is renting a place.
"You never know they might bump into each other in their local."
Well I'll change that to be "sexy" instead of "cute" then. The traditional English accent is sort of prim and proper and posh and sexy in that way.
But then you get Cockney which is course and grating but can still be sexy in it's own way, so I guess it depends on the English person you are talking to. But I love them all.
Well I have a bit of a strange accent I think. We moved to Australia when I was six so not much English left in my accent any more, more an Australian accent I guess. But sometiems I say some things and they come out of my mouth totally in an English accent, it's weird.

The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home, which sits on slightly more than an acre, boasts a movie theater, which has a video game area and a wet bar.
The house, which sits in a gated community with valley and city-to-ocean views, also has an elevator, an office, built-in fish tanks, a small recording studio, a gym and a master suite with two bathrooms.
And Arnold warns Spears she shouldn't be alarmed if she sees him out on the front lawn in his underwear with a pack of beer.
He jokes, "Well, Britney will probably relate to that, if you know what I mean. She'll probably be like, 'I feel (like I'm) right back in Louisiana!"
If step-mother-to-be Spears buys the house, she will also take charge of O'Neal's tropical fish -- including one huge catfish called Bubba -- which dwells in his impressive aquarium.

I never really understand why people think they need all that stuff in their house.

Britney Spears has been house-hunting for a mansion to house her fiance's growing family -- and is keen on a swanky $4 million Malibu, Calif., villa.
The 22-year-old singer spent an hour looking at the five-bedroom property near popular Zuma Beach, as part of her quest to find a home for her and boyfriend Kevin Federline where his two children -- daughter Kori, 2, and son Shaz, born on July 20, can visit.
A source says, "It looked like they loved it. They were in there for ages, then seemed to seal the deal with a lingering kiss in the driveway."

They plan to move into the 18-bedroom mansion in California after their honeymoon.
Britney was so keen to land the property that she stumped up the asking price in cash.
The property is perched on a clifftop in the most sought-after area of Malibu.
The secluded estate is behind huge electronic gates and is patrolled by armed guards 24 hours a day.
The house has panoramic views over the Pacific, a tennis court, two swimming pools and lush gardens.
A source said: “It really is an amazing property. It is in the best and most desirable part of Malibu. Britney must have fought off fierce competition because it’s in such a prime location.”
The pop star’s neighbours will include movie star and director Mel Gibson, 48, who has a house on the same estate.
For the past few months Britney and Kevin have rented another sprawling mansion in Malibu.
She recently sold her New York flat for a whopping £3.3million.
She bought the flat in 2001 for £2.3million and spent £275,000 redecorating.
But Britney’s heart was in California.
She even knocked on the door of Cher’s mansion offering to buy it for £12million.
Singer Cher said she would sell — but only for £15.5million.
