Now, don't get me wrong. I loved all three parts of the trilogy. Best film making ever. But there are so parts of the movies that are so darn cheesy. What do you think

For me it was when Frodo woke up, presumably in the Houses of Healing, in ROTK. Frodo and Gandalf are just laughing at each other. What is so darn funny? And Merry and Pippin jumping on the bed? Okay, so their hobbits and fun-loving and all, but still, I just can't imagine why 2 war heroes would be jumping on the bed.

well first off, Gandalf did indeed start laughing in the book. it makes sense. After all they've been through, they now have the freedom to breath a sigh of relief and just let loose.

Yeah, but it is really cheesy! Everything in that scene is cheesy! The slow motion!

Did somebody say cheese?

After all the seriouness of ROTK It was quite nice to see them all smiling again-it made me smile.

I'm not knocking the laughing and celebration. I just think it was over done and silly.

I don't know I don't think it was that bad just my opinion though...It was nice to see them all reunited though

Well, the books was written during the what? 1960s? I have no idea. and yeah, even I don't get about their laughing. Maybe bcause it's so ironic that Frodo ends up in the same bed?

Alright well I don't really like talking about how things were "bad" in Lord of the Rings and I dont know if this would classify as "cheesy" but when Frodo and Sam were picked up by the eagles and they just showed a shot or two of Frodo's face, the animation was a little bad, but the eagles looked awesome!

And did you notice the angle they were being held at? It would have broken anyone's back.

You can also see that it is blue screen, it just doesnt look quite right...

Also some of Gimli's comedic lines are beginning to grate on me now, they started out funny, but they've burnt themselves out

Yes, Legolas surfing skills...the first time was ok, and cool...But I think they overdid it
