Help me understand Camille's color hype?

American Idol: Season 3 Forum

Ok here goes, I am a American Idol fan, but I watch it religiously. However, I have noticed Camille has a color hype about green, yellow, and red? I was wondering if anyone knows what this is about. Plus last night she totally went out and wore those colors, like she finished with a bang! Well fill me in please!!! Polly

I think she is into reggae music. It might be a reggae thing.

those are the colors of Africa...i guess she wishes she were black. I know her biggest musical influence is Lauren Hill.....she is not a reggae artist. Just a good black singer...so maybe she wants to be more like her. lol

it's obviously a good luck charm, her mom and sister and friends wear it too. Red Yellow and Green are rastafari colors. It probably has to do with that.

well she always wears that sweat band thing on her wrist and its those colours

ok on the ryan seacrest show, she said they are maui's colors and they stand for like faith hope and peace or something like that....

camille wears the rasta (red, yellow, and green) wristband because she wore it during her first audition and made it on to the next round. it has been her good luck charm through out the show.

well, hawaii is a place where people listen to raggae, and i guess she represents hawaii by wearing red yellow and green. just like how jasmine wears a flower in her ear. also camille wore that same bracelet on her first audition in the beggining of the season. and i guess thats her good luck charm.
