I have read all the other books... have them all, but I haven't purchased the latest yet.
When I do, I will get through it in a weekend.

Yes, it is a great series... well thought out, entertaining, and thought provoking.
While I'm not a bible thumper, I do go to church, and have my own beliefs...
but, this series has been something I've continued to read, and continued to look forward to the next.

Really? I definitely need to get myself a copy soon...I know this book is going to be incredable, as were all the other ones...So there is going to be one more after Glorious Appearing?

I went and bought Glorious Appearing last night.
First thing I noticed....

All the other books are a black cover with a picture.
This book is a white cover.
My mom noticed that and wondered why...
Well, simple... because the first 11 were satan reigning on earth...
but, here's comes Jesus in this book.
I just thought that was really cool that they did that.

Okay, so I'm 50+ pages in, and I really love it.
The last book really left us hanging with Buck and Rayford. Finally got some questions answered.

Okay, I just finished reading Glorious Appearing this morning. This was, by far, the best book in the series. The return of The Christ was so powerfully amazing. The detail, the scripture that they went in to was great. It had a wonderful ending...

What is this series about? What is the genre?

It's a series of books, written by a couple of Christian men.... it entails the final days of time before the return of Christ. It starts out with the Rapture taking all those true Christians away from the Earth, and those remaining either side with the one who rises to power (The Anti-Christ) or with God. The series is absolutely one of the best that I have ever read, and that's saying a lot from me. I go through books in a few days, at the most, and have read many. You do not have to be ANY religion to read this series, but it does touch your soul in a way that is unexplainable.

Hmmm, I'm not religious, but I am pretty spiritual. Perhaps I'll put that on my "to read" list.

That's how I am, Heather. I'm not a religious person... though I do go to church.
There is a difference between Religious and Spiritual.

Anyway... the series is really good. I do recommend it.

I read one of the Left Behind series, can't remember which one it was. I found it to be very preachy. Maybe they're not all like that. I am not a church goer and am very comfortable with that. Don't want to go to church, but I love good stories. Maybe I'll give it another try. I have Desecration in my collection but I don't think it is the one I read.

Well, while it can be read as "preachy" I still found the entire series to be entertaining.
I'm not a bible thumping person, at all... though I do attend church now and then.
I live a life quite opposite of what many christians consider as "godly"
It's just a book, to me... so, Kerry... try it again.

Oh, and you need to read them in the order they were put out, or things will not make sense.

I agree with that...You must read them in order or you'll be lost.
I had a ough time getting though the first one though...Once I got through the first one, they got much better
