Germany Supports Regime Change

Well, well, looks like Germany has finally come around and now supports regime change. About time and it wasn't because the Allies are on Baghdad's doorstpes is it looking at victory? Nah, couldn't be.

It is now time for Germany and Japan to become part of the Allied forces in the future.

While I agree with his new sentinment, I laugh at the fact that Germany could show any country how to be a great democracy.

They went from monarchy, to dictatorship, to facist regime, to a US lead imposed democracy that the US backed for 40+ years before it was firmly stablized and the country was reunited.

Lets not forget who was the teacher there and who was the student.

Opposition leader Angela Merkel, who has faced mounting criticism within her conservative Christian Democratic Party for supporting the US-led war, welcomed the chancellor's change of position.

"I'm glad that the distinction is no longer being made today between those who want war and those who want peace," she said. "We cannot be neutral. We all stand on the side of those who are fighting for democracy."



Wish she was Chancellor. Conservatism rules the world and so it should. All the Allies fighting in Iraq are.
